Great Beachy vibe, clean on the inside, privacy, easy walk to shops and food.
Busy street, overgrown backyard and driveway. Had trouble parking our truck without scratching it. Backyard was private but very overgrown. A little tlc on the yard, deck and outside shower would go a long long way. A guest fell through the floor in the outdoor shower. Overall good place to be.

We loved our stay at the surf shack. You truly cannot beat the location and their cozy home was all we needed and more for our stay. Absolutely loved that they allowed dogs, beds were super comfy, and the fire pit was so nice to relax by after long days at the beach! We can’t wait to come back!

This place was exactly what we thought it would be. Cute little house that is close to the beach and bars/restaurants. Walking to Burt’s for items we forgot to pack and morning coffee was perfect. You can walk to the beach in 3 mins or be bar side in 5. The house was clean and had a nice outside area.

This property is on the main road but I did not hear the traffic while in the house! Just a block from the beach and 3 blocks from the main intersection on the island. Loved the Jack and Jill bathroom with the bedrooms. Great little weekend getaway! Thank you so much!

We had such a great stay at the Surf Shack. The house had ample room, was comfortable and had so many great places to relax inside and out. The location really can’t be beat! Perfect stay for Beach Lovers
Heating was a bit difficult as the bathroom and second bedrooms heated up nicely but the rest not really. The screened porch was wonderful. We did not use the garden because with rain it gets flooded. But overall it was super, central close to the beach and had everything we needed. Actually it looked better than in the photos.

The Shack is easy walking to the beach and to shops and restaurants. It was very clean and there were no problems. We didn't use the yard, but there is a fire pit, shower and deck.

This is the cutest little cottage and a perfect location on Folly. There are lots of nice windows and a screen porch. The house is decorated comfortably and is very clean. A side note: The floors are uneven and almost wavy in places which is very difficult for someone who suffers from vertigo but if that doesn’t apply to you, they are original and in an original surf cottage that is charming.

The proximity to the beach is wonderful and we had everything we needed for our two nights. Beds were comfortable and the management company was attentive. Parking was easy and the key-less entry worked well. We would go back.

The house was really nice and cozy. I loved the screened in porch. The house was very clean. There were alot more supplies than I thought there would be. I loved that it had alot of the privacy from the trees even though we were so close to everything. The limbs do need trimming around the deck area.

Great location - steps away from the beach, easy walk to Berts, easy walk to all the restaurants downtown Folly, and still feels quiet and secluded. The oak tree adds so much to the property, giving it that old island feel. House was well appointed and our family of 3 had no issues having only one bathroom. Would definitely stay here again!

My wife and I enjoyed a few days away at the Surf Shack. We particularly enjoyed the screened in porch. We spent a lot of time there enjoying each others company while reading and soaking in the scenery. The Surf Shack is just a few hundred yards from the 3rd street beach access and we had a nice surprise of beach chairs to take down to the beach for fun in the sun and surf. You are just a short walk from all the restaurants and bars, as well as Burt’s Market, the local grocery store. Like the other reviews, we found the shower a bit small and a little tricky to dial in the hot water, but overall a fun little bungalow for a enjoyable stay at Folly Beach.

Enjoyed our stay. Perfect for my husband & I. Older home with lots of character. Just a short walk to the beach & a short walk to the restaurants & shops. We had a fantastic stay. Just FYI- we have a tall truck & had to park away from the door because small tree branches hanging down scratched the roof of the cab. In the master bedroom, 2 slats within the blinds were broken- which we just placed paper towels over the holes at night- definitely not a deal breaker. Easy fixes. We absolutely loved our stay.

Great location, close to the public access to the beach. The beach house was clean and the bed comfortable. Great place for a couple or small family. Close to the center of Folly Beach with restaurants. The kitchen was adequately equipped, but a little sparse with staples. Be sure to bring your own coffee filters, napkins and whatever spices you need for cooking. Or, just enjoy the restaurants close by.

We loved the screened porch for Happy Hour, listening to the waves rolling in, then as it got darker, the crickets. Very private and surrounded by a beautiful oak and palms. Our only wish was that the shower was bigger.

We had a great stay! Huge master bed and super comfortable and quiet. Loved the location and walkability to beach and bars/restaurants. Great experience!
Note: there is a back area but not fenced. Also there is a coffee pot but you need to bring your own filters and ground coffee…but the local convenience store a few blocks away serves free coffee :)

Cute place with an easy access to Arctic St and the beach and not far from Bert’s and Center St. Great porch and outdoor space. Arctic is best for dog walking and easy to reach behind the house. Only downside was close to busy Ashley but it didn’t bother us. Also no ice in the fridge or local or cable TV. No sports. A TV antenna would help.

Check-in was tricky, with a pushed back check-in, maybe because of storm the day before? But once in, the house was perfect for our family of 3. We could walk to the beach and to grab meals or something from Bert's. Would love to come back next year and bring Grandmom!

We stayed here with a friend mostly to sightsee in Charleston. It's about 25 minutes outside the city, but easy drive. The house was small but had everything we needed. The shower in the bathroom is tiny as others report, but it was fine for us. It is a short walk to public access at Folly Beach. Beach chairs were supplied. It was a very cute little place to stay in.

Nice, clean cottage within walking distance from beach. Much larger space than what pictures show. Three minute walk to town and 24 hour small grocery store. Very private, great backyard to relax in.

Great location ! Close to town and just a block from the beach ! Lovely backyard and fire pit ( bring your own matches / lighter ). Pots and pans are nice quality. No kitchen supplies such as coffee or oil ( they did have salt and pepper which was appreciated ). Overall comfortable and convenient for a family of four.

Great location! Super clean and cute house. Fit my family of 4 perfectly. Only downsize was no washer/dryer, which was fine since we were only there a couple of days but would definitely want if there for a week or more. Overall we would definitely stay again.

Only draw back for this property was the size of the shower. If you are a larger person you would want to skip this one. Washer & dryer would be nice for longer stays, but really no room for them in this rental. Great stay and we enjoyed the house.
