Really great place. The upper deck was just fantastic, we definitely spent most of our time there. The house was clean and well appointed with dishes, appliances etc. Everything worked fine, especially the heat ha ha. Temps in the 40’s a couple nights so being from Florida we appreciated that. The only thing negative I would say was the driveway construction across the street starting every morning at 7. The constant beeping of the Bobcat dozer, paver sawing, blowers etc all 4 days we were there was really annoying and not relaxing for sure. I realize this was out of your control. Bad timing I guess

This place is incredible! Great for our families getting out of town after our houses were damaged by Hurricane Helene. A wonderful place to take refuge for a few days. Has everything you would need and stunning location.

This house has a phenomenal location with amazing views -- the beach is your back yard! It is in a residential neighborhood, not clogged with tourists. I loved how all the windows in the open living area meant that you were constantly "at the beach," even when indoors. The seating in the living room was ample and very comfortable, and the beds were good (my back would have let me know if they weren't). My dogs loved the place, too! Be aware that the showers are small and stand-up only, but we rented the place for the amazing, pet-friendly location, not the showers. The house was clean and I would rent it again in a heartbeat -- I am so grateful to have found a comfortable house that is right on the beach, allows dogs, and doesn't have insane pricing. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Property was very clean, had lots of room, and the location was unbeatable - just a few steps to the beach and you could watch the sunrise from the porch. Check-in was easy and check-out was just as simple. There wasn’t a long list of things to do before you could leave. In addition, my husband had a medical emergency and the ambulance was called. Within minutes I received a call from Folly’s Best checking on us because a team member had spotted emergency vehicles outside of the house. They offered to have food delivered and made sure we had nothing to worry about for the remainder of our stay. Without going into too much detail, they took excellent care of us and made accommodations for us for the remainder of our stay.

We loved staying at the Sea Palm! The beach view was beautiful and access was quick and easy. We loved having the option of staying inside the screened in porch or sitting outside to stargaze. The space was a perfect setup for a family. The outdoor shower was a hit as well!

Stayed for a long weekend in January. Loved the location. View of the ocean was spectacular. Beach walks everyday. The living room has a bank of glass doors that can be folded all the way open. Loved that it was dog-friendly. I will definitely be back to rent this in the warmer season!

Wonderful location! It was the perfect house for our family of 7. Town and restaurants were close by. It was wonderful staying on the beach. House was very clean and provided plenty of area to wash the sand off. Beds and linens were very comfortable. My only recommendation would be to pack beach chairs as this stay doesn’t provide them and they are costly at the surf shops. Would highly recommend and hoping to stay again next year.

Definitely recommend this house. It is actually bigger than the pictures show. They also have painted the entire interior a calming blue/grey that isn’t represented in the pictures yet. Great location. Away from the crowded part of Folly. My family loved it!

Better than the pictures. Amazing location and view. The living room has a full panel glass wall, letting you enjoy the view of the ocean, unobstructed from inside. There is then a screen porch that leads out to an amazing deck. Would go back in a heartbeat!

This property is one of the best rentals we have had on Folly. The nano door is a game changer. It makes the living room a spot to be—just like a great screened porch. The only downside is a not so well appointed kitchen—an easy fix with a couple of new frying pans.

We had a great time - process of booking and paying was easy. Great communication and timely response to one question we had about the TV- sent someone out quickly and took care of the inquiry. House is clean and well stocked and view was amazing! Parking is a little tight as the driveway is split by a tree but it was just my wife and I in one vehicle so no problem for us. There is no yard to speak of for pet owners like us but we simply walked to the neighboring streets for potty breaks. It is beachfront after all and we had no issue but other pet owners may be looking for green space. Over all we thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend the home to others. Would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay! The location is great, we walked to dinner via the beach our first night. We got unlucky with weather (rain) during our stay, but our kids still had a blast walking on the beach and collecting shark teeth. Can’t beat being right on the beach! A boardwalk over the dune would have been helpful for the little ones. The proximity to Charleston is nice too. This was our first trip to Folly - we will definitely be back!

The Sea Palm house was a perfect place for our vacation on the shore. The location on Folly Beach is very convenient and close enough to the center as well as within walking distance of Folly Beach County Park on the end of the island.
Everything was provided for a comfortable stay, with a well appointed kitchen and TVs in multiple rooms, as well as a wonderful large deck on the top floor with a large open area and a screened porch.
It was also great to be able to bring our dog, who enjoyed long walks on the beach. Dogs need to be on a leash on the beach.
The beds were comfortable and linens and towels of good quality. The area was quiet and the house is very well maintained.
Folly Beach is close enough to Charleston to get in and out of town, although traffic can be an issue at times.
There are many good restaurants in the center of Folly Beach nearby, including Rita’s Seaside Grill (where you can bring your dog to eat on the patio), Taco Boy, and others.
There is a Circle K that is open all houses as well as a small grocery store called Bert’s Market in town.
Also worth going to the Lighthouse Inlet Heritage Preserve at the other end of the island (though dogs are not permitted there due to the bird sanctuary).
Folly’s Best, the rental service for the property, does a good job on communications and check-in. They do require a separate short rental agreement, which was easily filled out via email and contained no onerous terms.
We would be glad to return.

This house was perfect for the 3 generations of our family. Everyone had their own space and the common areas were big enough for all of us to gather. Location was perfect- just far enough from the crowded pier area so we had ample beach space, could find lots of sharks teeth and even sea turtle nests very close by.

Sea Palm is a great house in a perfect location. Close to restaurants and only 20 min to Charleston. House was clean and bright. Great kitchen and fantastic deck looking out to the ocean. The people at Folly's Best rentals were very helpful when we asked about the password for WIFI. The password in the notebook is incorrect. We will return to Folly Island and will use Folly's Best Rentals again.
