The mornings are magical as the sunrises and the ocean is right in your face, we LOVED it! Comfortable, cozy and easy to stay at. We felt great having direct access to beach and really can't say enough good things about our stay. its was a 10 out of 10! We will be back-- tom & shay

My fiancé and I, took my mother and her husband to Folly Beach for her birthday week. We also traveled with our small dogs. We all felt right at home in this rental! Easiest check-in ever. There was plenty of space in the bedrooms, and in the shared living areas. The deck was SO nice to sit out on to get sun during the day, and we loved how accessible the beach was, right at the foot of our steps. Could not beat the location and privacy! It was clean, quiet, roomy, and had a beautiful view! The unit also had plenty of kitchenware to cook a few meals, in between eating out at the amazing local restaurants. My mom had a wonderful week here. If we ever come back to the Charleston/Folly area, we will definitely rent it again! On top of the unit being everything we could want and more, the management team was very communicative and helpful with all of our questions and concerns, from before the booking, and all throughout our stay. Really couldn’t have gone better.

The rental company was very receptive to a few minor concerns we had upon check in. We couldn’t get water to come out of the outdoor shower, but it was because the water hose was turned off, which was an easy fix and they came immediately for that. There are some minor maintenance repairs that could be done but in general, I would give this four stars & I would rent it again. It is perfect for two families. There is a downstairs unit as well, so something to take note of that you are very close proximity to the people renting the ground level below. We had no issues!

The location was amazing - right on the beach! Here are a few items that would make it better:
1. Fix the outside shower. It is really important for a beach house. That way we can rinse off before coming into the condo.
2. Add a few hooks in the bathrooms to be able to hang towels.
3. Fix The luggage rack upstairs.
4. One of the lamps in the downstairs bedrooms did not have a light bulb.
4. The hall lights do not work.
5. There are no hot pads on the kitchen. I had to use the kitchen towels.
6. Add a fly swatter. We found several flies and mosquitoes throughout the place.
7. Leave a few basics in the kitchen like some coffee, tea, sugar, oil etcPlease let the owners know that we have been to several air b and b’s throughout the years and have never been to a place with zero kitchen basics like sugar, oil, spices, etc.
8. Best not to say you provide soap and shampoo- as there were tiny
bars of soap and shampoo bottles.

View and beach access were the best by far! Loved the big open and not crowded beach, even on holiday weekend. Would have been nice for propane to be included for the price. Sparse inside but all basic needs were met. Would come again.

It was our first visit to Folly Beach and this house was great! We loved the beach access. No long walk or dunes to go over, it’s literally in your backyard. The sounds of the ocean are always present and the view is lovely from the main room of the house and the landing off the primary bedroom. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Our kids enjoyed having their own bedroom each with a king sized bed. Kitchen stocked with everything we needed and there was a stash of essentials provided by the host. TVs in every room if that’s your thing. We were happy with the sense of privacy overall. The main street with all the shops and restaurants is just a few minutes away. The summer must be a lot busier but we really enjoyed the laid back vibe during this week in March. Would definitely stay here again!

Listen, if you cannot be extremely pleased with this place smack on the beach and in a beautiful home with very nice people all around you, you will not be pleased at all. Incredible place for us to decompress after the rush of holiday business! Added perks; watching the surfers, dolphins very close to the beach, a great storm, shells everywhere, oh let me see...being steps from the beach, incredible sunrises and sunsets, the lighthouse, Folly's Shorebirds Graffiti Road, wonderful places to eat, Bert's Market and an incredibly comfortable bed (or 4) with a view of the Ocean when you open your eyes!!!

The view of the ocean, waves, dolphins, pelicans and beach action is all right there in front of you from the porch, living room, kitchen and dining room. We wanted something memorable and we got it. We did a crash Course of historic Charleston and surrounding areas We walked the Arthur Ravenel junior bridge, which was a lot of fun. We drove out to Cypress Gardens and paddled around in the swamp. Saw some gators. Even though all the flowers were not in bloom, it was still a beautiful place to visit. Every morning we stopped for coffee at the food truck called Deadlow on Center Street. Excellent! A friendly young girl named, Stephanie Worked there. She gave us great Suggestions on what to do around the area. Highly recommend! We loved our stay at this beach house and hope to come back again.

What a setting this home has! Sitting just yards from the ocean tide, the view is breathtaking! The home itself is lovely, has very good space and is well appointed. The kitchen has everything you need to make and serve a meal. The bedrooms have comfortable beds and very nice bathrooms. One note to be certain of is that the master bedroom is up a spiral staircase. It was not a problem for us at all but anyone renting should be fully aware of that. Many thanks for a lovely stay, we certainly hope we can come back when we can take FULL advantage of the beach!!!

Great house, It is exactly as pictured. The second floor mater suite is perfect. Wake up in the morning to watching the sunrise over the Atlantic ocean. The place is at the northern end of the Island and takes about 7 minutes to drive on the small 2 lane road (25 mph max). Some things to note for future visitors. The light switches are backwards. Up turns the light off, down turns it on. Check the temp of the fridge is not close to 35, food at the back will freeze. The owners are VERY dog friendly. We had three miniature Schnauzers and the people below us had two of their pups. And we could see a lot of people walking their dogs on the beach. The deck is perfect, lots of places for people to sit and enjoy the view.

We loved our stay here! Very pet and family friendly with wonderful views and convenience with the beach steps away! The house was luxurious and beautifully decorated. It is a further drive from town (extra 5-10 minutes but with that you get the beach mostly to yourself -less populated down there) We had no issues at all and enjoyed our time here very much! This ocean front pet friendly house is spectacular! We stayed over NYE and had the most wonderful time. You are literally steps from the ocean and we enjoyed so much time on the beach front deck. The kitchen is beautiful and is fully stocked with everything you will need to prepare meals for your group. Communication with Folly's Best was quick and easy. The house was sparkling clean and there were plenty of linens and supplies to make our stay comfortable. We had such a great time that we plan to book this again over the summer. Don't hesitate to book this house!

I met my son and daughter and their families, who live in different states, at this home for a 4 day weekend getaway. The home has an open layout, a wall of windows with amazing ocean views, and a large back deck that was the perfect place to relax and listen to the waves. The home was modern, clean and comfortable. It was great to have a nice beach and the ocean just a few steps away. The property management crew was wonderful....they responded immediately and efficiently to our request. Overall GREAT experience at Oceanfront Nest Up!!
