live the location there is a 24 hr convenience store 1 block away. several local favorite restaurants and a beautiful stretch of beach 1 and a half blocks from the pier.

This little condo was perfect for my family. Right on the beach with a SHORT walk that had a shower. Everyone in the plex was so nice and welcoming. Previous reviews mention it being older or worn down but we found it to be quaint, calm, and perfect. Well outfitted with everything we needed and the rental company was extremely helpful!

Easy to find and great access to the beach. Neighbors left their dog alone Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. The dog barked the entire time they were gone. It was annoying but once the owners returned, the dog was ok. We had a great time!

This was a very nice rental. We liked the layout, the roominess, and the convenience of the washer and dryer. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The only discomfort was the sofa. We loved the front balcony looking out over the ocean. So close! Also, it was great to be in walking distance of the downtown shops and restaurants, as well as Bert’s. This was our first time staying in Folly Beach. We would definitely rent this unit again.

This condo was in the perfect location - walking distance to everything going on on Folly Beach. Our view was incredible. The host was very quick and attentive to any questions I had. Did not realize that this was a very pet friendly complex. We were the only ones without our dog.

The place is simple but has a million dollar view. Short easy walk to the beach, walkable into town. Tv was a little tricky to figure out how to change channels but didn’t ruin the trip in any way

If your looking for a 5 star hotel, keep looking. If your looking for an awesome beach experience, look no further. The place was just as described by others. It's older but was clean and had everything we needed. Very friendly and helpful staff. You can't get any closer to the beach than this location. Also walking distance to local stores, restaurants and the peer. We had the best time here. Loved getting up every morning to watch the sun come up over the ocean. Would definitely come back, sad we had to leave...

I come to Folly yearly and always stay at this building. I love the proximity to the little town and I love that the building is on one end of a row of buildings so there’s a great view of the ocean and beach. This particular unit could use a little refresh of paint and upgrade but it is clean and the price was comparable to others. This unit is an end unit so the view is the best in the building and there’s a lot of light coming in through the side windows.

Overall it was great. Not happy with the toilet though. Too shallow for men. Would not recommend for anyone that has breathing problems unless you stay on the first floor. I’m not used to climbing four flights of stairs. But it was not noisy at all. Loved the little kitchen.

This is a great little place to stay. Needs some updating, but over all nice. The pull out couch is actually comfortable. Has a foam mattress instead of the old spring mattress that older couches tend to have. The bed is comfortable, memory foam, but didn’t get too hot. If you like to cook, bring knives with you as there aren’t any. Overall, had a great stay and the view and location can’t be beat!

This apartment is clean and well located to downtown Folly and Bert's store. Waking up to the beach sunrises can never be overestimated in terms of serenity. The maintenance/property manager are prompt to address any concern. We had to have a hotspot installed because of ongoing Wifi issues. Understand that in this condo/apartment complex, there are lots of dog owners.

This was great location on the beach and within walking distance to everything. The unit needs a little updating. Not much room in the kitchen. The blinds in the living room are missing a couple of slats & it was noted on previous reviews. Lighting in the bedroom wasn't bright enough. Too many pets in ALL the other units. Chairs on the deck could have been more comfortable. A small table to eat at on the deck would be nice.

Rating 3.5 stars but could not choose 0.5 star. The rate is for value/what you get for the price. Pros: Clean; Ocean Front; Convenient walking distance to most restaurants; Comfy mattress and pillows; Cons: Hasn't been updated in decades (literally); Bathroom leaves a lot to be desired; Streetlight shines in bedroom window, so VERY light all night (room darkening curtains would solve this cheaply); Kitchen is basically setup for making coffee and sandwiches only; Your outside deck is basically shared/not private; No elevator so if you have mobility issues, this will not work for you; TV in bedroom was not connected to anything.

Pros: Very Clean, Great Location (can walk everywhere!), Bed was soooo comfortable, Check in was easy (key pad on door) Cons: Toilet is a ridiculous design!!! So very, very shallow at the front of the bowl that a man has to hold his privates to keep them from touching the bowl when sitting (UGH!). The bedroom is so bright from street lights at night and the sun at first light in the morning-it is like having a light on all night. While pictures are representative of what you are getting, most renters want to stay in a place that is visually appealing and welcoming. One week's rent put back into a toilet, room darkening curtains (they are very cheap at Bed Bath & Beyond and they work), a pretty paint color for the walls, pulls for the cabinets, and a pretty comforter and bed skirt would make a huge difference in how you feel when you first walk into the rental, look around and think about what you are paying per night. TV in bedroom did not have a box or cable and thus did not "work" but we didn't notice until the last night, so I just reported it as we were checking out.

This was a very nice, clean condo with excellent views of the beach. Being on this end of the building, the view extends way up the beach and since it's a corner unit, it feels private. The couches and bed were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. Looking forward to returning!

Pool was green. Had to wash bed linens. Ceiling was falling down. Smoke detector on floor. Air return filthy...covered in dust and dirt. I am recovering from cancer and WBC count low. Really concerned about healthy and safety of this place.

The suggestions from the owners were great even for us who have been to Folly many times before. The only negative wasn't even this units fault. The unit next door shares a laundry room with this unit. We were planning on doing some laundry the night before we left since we had another stop to make on our way home. The couple next door left that morning and the cleaning lady arrived around 3pm to clean the other unit and did not finish till after 10pm. She tied up the laundry room the entire time. For a one bedroom unit there sure seemed like a lot of laundry to be done. We ended up stopping at a laundry on our way to the next stop. But like we said this was a great time and a great place to stay.

Porch and windows are next to public access. Morning on porch are very sunny with people walking by constantly. Bed sleeps horribly. Slats fell. The AC in master at night is not adequate for 100 degree weather. Shower is great. Very clean. Would not return.

Great view! Great location! Perfect size for two adults.
The only negative for this unit is it needs updated. The kitchen cabinets are worn out as well as the appliances and oh there is no dishwasher. It didn’t matter to us so much since we ate our meals out.
The bathroom could also use a makeover.

We really enjoyed our stay. This condo is in a great location to all the fun Folly Beach has to offer. It is a corner unit which provides some privacy. Beach front was awesome. Condo itself was nice. Bed was a little too firm for our liking but we were able to sleep! Only thing that we see that could be of benefit, is a new higher sitting toilet. I know that sounds crazy but the toilet looks and sits like a toddler toilet. Ladies at rental office are awesome. They assisted my husband in having roses and wine waiting on our arrival for Valentine's Day! Great group of ladies!

This was our second stay at Little Peace of Heaven. The mattress & sofa are comfy. The unit was very clean. We ate all meals out but the kitchen looked well-equipped. Lots of natural light, great oceanfront view from deck where we spent much time looking at the ocean from the Adirondack chairs. Anyone with mobility difficulties, be aware that there are 34 stairs to get to this second-story condo; however, as senior citizens, we still found it very doable. This condo is within easy walking distance to favorite Folly Beach restaurants--Rita's, Taco Boy...and to Lost Dog Cafe where we ate breakfast every day. The reservation process appears to have been streamlined since we last rented--much easier to understand the process and it was more timely. Parking for the unit is directly below, very convenient. We would definitely book here again. It will earn 5 stars next time if they move checkout from 10am to 11am...everyone wants that one last, leisurely walk on the beach. :)

Had such an amazing stay - we didn't want to leave! Great location (just 5 minute walk to "downtown" Folly - TACO BOY - and pier), quiet and clean. LOVED sitting on the balcony when we weren't at the beach. Having the shower coming off the beach was crucial. Can't wait to come back! I think fitting more than two would be a bit crowded, but the space was perfect for just the two of us. I will say, the bedroom gets VERY bright in the mornings, making it hard to sleep in - but makes for an early start to pack in a day!

This beachfront condo is located in a great spot-everything you need is in walking distance. The price was reasonable but unfortunately it is need of some attention. The stove worked sporadically, several pans were rusted and/or had non-stick coating flaking off, there is no DW, the LR furniture is dated, faded and uncomfortable, and the whole place could use a fresh coat of paint. The porch provided a fantastic view and an oceanfront breeze, but we had to walk right in front of the folks in the unit next to us every time we went up or downstairs. The "shared" porch is a little awkward. The rental process was really easy and Folly's Best Rentals did a great job. Folly Beach was lots of fun and we look forward to coming back!

This place is the perfect location if you are looking to stay in the ocean. We have a beautiful view of the ocean from inside and the balcony! Had such an amazing stay - we didn't want to leave! Great location (just 5 minute walk to "downtown" Folly - TACO BOY - and pier), quiet and clean. LOVED sitting on the balcony when we weren't at the beach. Having the shower coming off the beach was crucial. Can't wait to come back! I think fitting more than two would be a bit crowded, but the space was perfect for just the two of us. I will say, the bedroom gets VERY bright in the mornings, making it hard to sleep in - but makes for an early start to pack in a day!

We loved staying at this condo. It fit our needs perfectly!! Perfect location! Loved the king size bed. Soft and neutral decor. It does need a good facelift but it was clean. We will definitely be back! Thanks!

The location exceeded my expectations and this condo was exactly what I wanted - a place right on the beach that was an end unit within walking distance from restaurants. Nice to have a washer and dryer which we shared with our neighbors and having the memory foam mattress was a real treat! Living room furniture seemed brand new and was very comfortable. Awesome reserved parking spot - I would definitely recommend staying there! Folly beach was awesome - view of the pier from the unit!

Little Peace of Heaven was exactly what we wanted - a relaxing beachside condo with access to the beach and Charleston. The beach is a 30 second walk away and there are gorgeous views of the beach from the balcony. The facilities are more than adequate - nothing too fancy, but certainly get the job done. We did not use much of the kitchen appliances, but they appeared to be adequate for cooking simple meals. All the neighbors were very friendly. The condo is a short walk to the main street on Folly beach, with several restaurants, bars, and shops walkable within 5 minutes. Further, we drove into Charleston several times, being only a 15 minute drive. No complaints here!
