Really enjoyed our week at Folly Beach. The house was a perfect setting to walk to the beach and shops. We spent a good deal of time on the porch. Great place for morning coffee. The fenced yard was perfect for our dogs. Highly recommend this vacation home.

We loved our stay here. Perfect location - private and peaceful with easy access to everything. Check out was super easy; no long to-do lists that some other Airbnb’s have. Not the most comfortable living room, but we didn’t spend much time indoors so it wasn’t an issue for us. Would definitely stay here again - one of the best rentals we’ve stayed at!

I’ve I could give it 6 stars I would. Everything was perfect, the bed rooms, the living spaces, the outdoor space. It even felt private yet still in easy walking distance on most everything. It’s not always easy to find a nice home that is also pet friendly, this one exceeds expectations.

Husband and I had a great time staying at the house. Looks exactly like the pictures and is very charming and cozy. We live on James Island and this was perfect for a “staycation”. Ideal location right off Center Street. Highly recommend.

This is an exceptional property! Beautiful, modern, well equipped with modern appliances, superb bathrooms with amazing water pressure, open floor plan and great light! We enjoyed the porch - also furnished with dining table, chairs and huge porch swing, and our doggy loved the fenced yard. Covered parking out of the sun was also excellent, and the house is in a super location just couple blocks to the beach, shops and restaurants! All in all definitely 5 stars, and highly recommend!

I stay at a lot of Airbnb’s. This one was absolutely perfect. Usually I stay directly on the water, but this time I didn’t. It was a very easy walk for my dog and I so he could play on the beach (public beach access path directly adjacent to the house). So peaceful and quiet. The home was beautifully updated and extremely solid craftsmanship throughout. The house was SPOTLESS!! Beautiful kitchen perfectly stocked with everything I needed. The fenced yard was perfect to let my lab out without worrying about him getting lost. It was just my dog and I there, so I didn’t even use the upstairs, but this place would be perfect for a small family with kids. Thank god the TV’s were easy to turn on and control. I travel to Charleston/Folly a LOT for business, and from here on out I will definitely be checking the availability of this place and booking if available. By far one of my top Airbnb’s EVER! Absolutely loved the place!! Highly recommended.

Great location. Surrounded by trees which made it feel secluded even though it's within short walking distance to the main street. I don't think I ever even closed the curtains during our 4-night stay and I felt completely comfortable doing so. Also very quiet. Directly beside public beach access and across from golf cart rentals. Friendly and responsive staff. Clean and comfortable. Ample space for the 4 of us. Kitchen equipped with everything you could need. All electronics and appliances worked properly as they should. Only thing I wish I had was a full-sized ironing board. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Overall a great experience and probably would've even extended our stay had it not already been booked (lol).

We love this house!!! The location near center street is so handy but the house is so well I solares we never heard any of the noise from downtown. We have never stayed in a cleaner place! We loved staying at this beautiful home. The huge porch swing is what originally grabbed my attention when looking for a rental in the area but once we arrived the house was perfection. One block off Center Street and steps from Low Life, Chico Feo and Bert’s Market makes the location great. The beach access cut through is on the other side of the fenced in parking area (which is clutch considering parking can be an issue in some areas) and quickly takes you to the pier. All three bedrooms are nice sized with their own bathrooms and tvs. Downstairs is the largest bedroom and their is an additional half bath off the kitchen. Under the house is additional entertaining space for when the weather gets a little warmer. The porch is where we had coffee and drinks and enjoyed the ambience of the neighborhood. You are directly across the street from a golf cart rental outfit which next time we might avail ourselves of but honestly everything is easily accessible on foot. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautifully appointed home with a relaxed vibe on Folly.

Wow!!! This house is amazing! We loved the communication with the owner for the week leading up to our arrival and how easy it was to check in. When we arrived we found everything just as described. It is as gorgeous in person as it is in the pictures. It was my husband, our two adult children, future son in law and our two dogs. The 3 king bedrooms each with en suites were perfect for us. The beds were super comfortable, sheets provided and so were bath towels, washcloths and bath mats, which was totally unexpected. We’ve always had to bring our own. The kitchen was fully equipped for anything you’d need for cooking but we took advantage of being able to walk to all of the restaurants. The restaurants were within a five minute walk as was the beach. The property is fenced in so it was great for our dogs. I can’t say enough great things about this property. It was everything and more of what we were looking for. It was my birthday weekend and the owners even left me flowers.

This was our first SC visit. Folly Beach is a smaller beach area but close to so much within a short drive. Very community based. I feel it’s great for younger couples. We enjoyed our visit.

The Hudson House was perfect for our couples stay. The house is beautiful and welcoming. It provides plenty of common areas ( we especially loved the porch). The bedrooms were spacious and each bedroom had its own full bath. Beds were very comfortable. The house is a very short walk to the beach and less than a block to Center Street which is packed with restaurants, bars and shops. We rented a golf cart directly across from the street to tour the island. Sunrises and sunsets were spectacular.
I would highly recommend this for couples retreat, family vacation, girls weekend etc.

This was the perfect location for our October baby moon! Finding a location that is dog friendly is always a challenge, but this location checked all the boxes! The house was laid out perfectly and the swing on the deck made for a perfect location to enjoy the evening. The house was very clean and the host stocked the house with all the essentials.
Everything in Folly Beach is very walkable, but this house is also conveniently located across the street from a golf cart rental! Grab a cart to zoom around the island or just to help transport everything to the beach. Most restaurants in the area have outdoor seating, so perfect to take the pups out to eat with you. We recommend trying the Lost Dog Cafe for breakfast. We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again!

Our only complaint was that cable TV was out and maintenance was not able to fix it. So we didn’t have TV for our trip :/ Management was very easy to communicate with and responsive! We rented this property for our 3 families to meet and relax. The property was absolutely outstanding. This property was definitely accurately depicted. The 3 separate bathrooms for each bedroom, plus another half bath was perfect for each couple. The house was clean and had everything we needed. It was so nice sitting on the front porch to visit with a beautiful breeze. TV's in every single room was a nice added feature as well as the washer and dryer. Property was immaculate; loved the porch, the renovation, everything was beautiful. Everyone in my family said this was one of the nicest rental properties they have stayed at! Very easy check-in/check-out process. They provided toiletries trash bags, etc. which were great (though could use some more handsoap). VERY clean! Wonderful yard/parking availability, and in walking distance of everything, which was great for beach access and the 'scene'. Great place for 6 adults, loved having our own bathrooms in each room; beds super comfy, rooms nice and big. Primary bedroom looked fantastic (my parents loved it). There is no disposal in the kitchen, so FYI if you plan to cook a lot, but there are great tools and it is well stocked! I'm not a fan of when you are paying a ton of money that you're nickel-and-dimed if you ask for a late checkout (esp. in the off season), but this house was worth the cost. The only thing I'd wish for it was a better seating arrangement in the downstairs living room - it's the main hangout area and it's not all that comfortable for all six adults. But hopefully you're there in peak season, no COVID, and are spending more time outside the house than inside :). Would definitely love to come back and stay here for a week during the summer! We had such a lovely long weekend at the E Hudson property. The house and grounds were beautiful, and the front porch (complete with a massive swing) is just THE BEST spot to kick back and relax! The location was super convenience and we truly appreciated having the ability to walk to the fishing pier, the beach, and all of the shops and restaurants just beyond our front door. Loved the 3 king bed setup too!

We stayed in this house for a quick fall break trip. We enjoyed the close proximity of shops and restaurants in Folly Beach. We spent a couple of afternoons in Charleston, which was only about a 25 minute drive. The house was so neat and clean and it was perfect for our family of 5 and small dog. Property exceeded all expectations when we arrived. Kitchen stocked with everything you need to make your own meals.. bed was extremely comfortable.. Excellent walkable location to everything! When we decided to adventure a little farther, there is conveniently a golf cart rental shop across the street. Beach was an easy 2 minute walk if that. We felt like we were at home and quite honestly did not want to leave. This stay tops any rental we have stayed previously. We will definitely be back!

My family had a great stay at this house in Folly. It is roomy, very clean and has everything you’d need. Only gave it 4 stars on location because it is on a slightly busy side street. We loved the covered porch and swinging bench and being able to bring our dog was awesome. Can’t wait to go back.

Would highly recommend this home for any future vacation on Folly. Close to everything, with easement alongside property that leads straight to the beach a few blocks away. Spacious and comfortable living areas, and privacy of bedrooms, all with closets large enough for a pack and play. We hope to book the property for future visits.

The location was great but more importantly, the house was perfect. We felt completely at home, so much so that we unpacked and basically moved in. I always live out of my suitcase for these short weekend trips but we really wanted the experience of living there. The kitchen was outfitted beautifully. Everything I needed was available. I really appreciate an equipped kitchen while vacationing because we do cook a lot when traveling. The bathrooms were beautiful, the beds comfortable, and the porch swing amazing. We definitely want to come back and stay there again!
