The condo was well appointed and comfortable. The best part was the parking and proximity to town. Very easy access. Loved the pool and loved the beach. I didn't like needing key fobs to access in and out of pool and beach gate. It was a pain in the butt.

We really enjoyed the Salty Sanctuary; very nice condo, appropriately appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, big showers. We hadn't been to Folly Beach before but really loved it, great waves (very popular surfing spot), so boogie boarding was awesome. Super close to all of the restaurants and the pier, so you could walk everywhere, great stay and we'd definitely do it again.

The only drawback is the current renovations made one of the two elevators inoperable, so getting the elevator could sometimes take too long (we were given a heads up about this though, so we knew what we were in for). Other than that, great stay and we'd definitely do it again.

Perfect vacation rental especially if you are traveling with older adults or small children. Convenient parking close to elevator and unit is across from the elevator as well.

The condo was beautiful right on the beach and had everything we needed! The location was perfect near shops and places to eat! It is an easy drive to the Charleston area! I loved having the sturdy carts to put the luggage and personal items or groceries in for transporting from the car to the condo. There was some construction noise during the stay but otherwise was amazing! The hostess/rental company responded quickly to any questions I had which was much appreciated!

During our stay there was scaffolding on our balcony due to ongoing improvements.
Besides that, the condo was spacious and clean. We had to call the rental office upon check-in for some directions around the construction area.
They were very helpful and stayed on the phone with me which I appreciated.
I would stay here again.

The property was exactly what I'd been looking for for my relaxing family beach vacation with my college and middle school children. The condo was clean and faced the beach as described. The large, deep balcony allowed us to sit outside even during mild rain the first night. The shower in the main suite was larger than expected. My college son even said it was a great unit and location, if it hadn't been for the hurricane. Mother Nature ruined our plans, but it was no fault of the host. We would love to visit again someday when we can explore the area and enjoy the beach. We only had a small window to travel this summer. My husband and I hadn't been to a beach since just before his deployment in 2008. My sons had neven been to one. Due to the change in the hurricane's path and historic flooding forecasted, we left early to ensure we'd make it home in time. We love these units on Folly Beach! This is our second stay in this building, just different condos. Beautiful beach views from the balcony, EASY access to the beach and pool, clean, cozy and cute inside, comfortable beds, good cooking supplies (except for spices), well organized. The only things that could be improved would be that the kitchen light was finicky and we had to ask for the gate code, but those are minor things. We will come back every year!

A great week at Folly. The only recommendation is to heat the pool in May because the water was cold. One of the 2 pool fobs did not work to unlock the pool gate. The property management company took care of this with a phone call and a photo of the fob number. We were pleased with the efficient response and resolution.

We were debating whether to stay in Charleston or at the beach. We are all glad we chose this property. This property has excellent ocean views and beach access. It is also within walking distance to many restaurants, shops and bars. It was also very easy to drive into Charleston when we wanted. The unit was clean and the host provided most everything we needed for our stay.

We’ve stayed at the Oceanfront Villas before but in a different unit. This unit takes the cake though. Being on the first floor was great and the ocean views and access are second to none. Everything that we needed for our stay was provided. The 4th bedroom was a plus. The furniture and decor were well thought out and fit the beach theme perfectly. Access instructions to the property and the unit were very easy. Communications with Best Rentals were promptly answered, thank you. We will definitely look to stay here again next year.

We had a great stay. Our condo was exactly as described. It was spacious and very clean. The ocean view was beautiful and relaxing. Check in/check out was smooth and easy. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall a spacious and well decorated space. Plenty of room for 4 adults & 1 child. The description says one of the rooms has a king & 2 single beds but it doesn’t. It’s 2 kings & 2 queens. It is literally right on the beach & close to many restaurants and stores. It is a busy area traffic wise so not great walkability. I was not aware of “palmetto bugs” before visiting the area but they are there & found their way inside. I would recommend bringing bug spray just in case. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony, enjoying coffee & listening to the waves.

Oh no! We are so sorry for that first impression! We do try our best to keep the pesky Palmetto bugs out. I am glad it did not ruin your stay and I hope that you found the property to be in clean condition otherwise.

Great property. It was very clean. Accurate representation. Loved they fact that it was right on the beach. The balcony overlooking the beach was our favorite place to sit. Property also had an elevator which was helpful for a family member with mobility issues. Kitchen was fairly well stocked. We cooked two pretty easy dinners during our stay. Would definitely rent this place again.
