We had a wonderful stay at this winter beach condo. The views were absolutely beautiful—peaceful, expansive, and even more special in the quieter winter season. The condo itself was comfortable, quiet, clean, and exactly as described.What really stood out, though, was how kind, helpful, and responsive the owners were. From booking through checkout, they were quick to communicate, thoughtful in their responses, and genuinely cared about making sure our stay was great. Any questions we had were answered promptly, which made everything feel welcoming even when I was confused about how to get access to the gate key. If you’re looking for a relaxing beach getaway with stunning views and hosts who truly go above and beyond, this is a fantastic choice. We would happily stay here again!

Had a fantastic time. Property very close to beach but close enough to walk ! Quiet , peaceful, gated environment to relax after exploring Charlestown proper ( 15 minutes away via car ), or Folly Beach ( 5 min by car, 10 minutes walking). Heated outdoor pool and beautifully landscaped grounds.Did I mention how quiet & peaceful? Outside balconies overlook beautiful tributary from the ocean, and abundant wildlife ( birding ) to view in the marshes. Be sure to go to Folly Beach for soul cleansing sunrises, and the ocean is safe to play in/ surf/ boogie board / swims!

There was a little confusion as to where the access card was but they responded immediately and were able to help me find where it had been hidden. The location was perfect in relation to the beach and restaurants. We loved the pool area.

The location is fabulous! During peak time, you will still wait in traffic, but it’s not bad to get to the beach. This definitely feels like a corporate owned property- it doesn’t have some of the special touches we have seen at other AirBnbs and the furniture is showing its age, but it worked perfectly for our family. Everything was very clean and functional and as described. The pool was great and the view is beautiful!

Five Palms is a very nice condo, great amenities and perfect location overlooking the river. One can enjoy the bird life in the palm trees, viewing dolphins in the river, and poolside respite from the heat.

This was my first stay on Folly. We chose it because it was close to Charleston and much more reasonable. It was perfect for this reason. We did go down to Folly Beach for dinner twice. It was great. If you like night life, there was a lot of that. It was walkable for anyone in shape.

Great location. Just across the causeway from crowded Folly Beach bars, restaurants, and shops. Could choose to stay home for peace and quiet and pleasant views, or walk across the causeway for the beach vibe. We are kayakers. Although it shows other locations, we could’ve launched almost from the front door.

Property was as advertised. Very Clean. Even the screened patio was very clean and had a beautiful view of the river/bay. Well stocked with everything we could need. A mile walk to the beach or short drive. Also very convenient to James Island.

Great place to stay in a really nice area, close to Folly Beach. Loved the porch for dolphin-watching and the amazing sunset view from the dock. The place was clean, and the host was really easy to communicate with.

We absolutely loved our time here! The hosts were very quick to respond and helpful! The view over the water was absolutely beautiful, and we saw dolphins a couple of times! The location was great, very short distance to Folly and able to walk to nearby restaurants. Would highly recommend!

Our family of 4 absolutely loved our stay. We come to folly about 3-4x during the summer and always stay around the area. This is by far one of our favorite so far. The view from the patio was amazing and the convenience to everything that folly has to offer is unmatched.

Absolutely beautiful view of the river from the porch! We saw many dolphins in the river during our stay. Clean & comfortable inside. The beach chair and boogie board were a big plus for our time on the beach! Extremely responsive host. Hose nearby to wash off the sand was great. Love the location, very close to downtown Folly. We would definitely stay again.

Location is fantastic to folly beach. Condo is comfortable, well outfitted with essentials for cooking and laundry! Can walk about a mile’s distance across the bridge to get brunch, coffee, or more groceries from Bert’s market. The pool was a nice amenity after a hot beach day, to grill and swim in the evening. The rental company is responsive, helpful, and professional. Price is good for all that comes with it! Coffee on the screened in porch in the back is such a great way to start the day.
