We loved the location. Beach was steps away. I loved the balcony and sat out there quite often. Loved the town which was easily walkable to the shopping and good eats. We went to the Pier where there is dining and a gift shop.
We did have one problem. Do not use or lay on the bedroom comforts. They are not washed and had stuff on them. I sent pictures to the phone number provided and didn't hear back from anyone. I suggested to them to get rid of all the comforts in the house and just use clean sheets on the beds.
Overall we had a perfect vacation and would stay here again.

This was the perfect beach rental! The condo was beautiful, steps from the beach, walking distance to restaurants and shops. And the balconies were awesome! For five people everything was perfect. Lots of privacy with three bedrooms and three full baths. One of the upstairs bedrooms looked out over the beach with a darling balcony! We were on the top (3rd) floor and there was an elevator to bring bags up, which was a big help! This will always be my place of choice when I go to Folly!!

Had a wedding to attended in the area and there was seven of us. The location was great. Quick 2 minute walk to the beach. The condo had great parking below making it easy to bring in our bags. Loved our stay here. Location is incredible - perfect views of the ocean from the balconies and easily walkable to the main strip of Folly or the beach itself within 5 minutes. Plenty of parking to fit two full size SUVs. Townhouse is very clean and well appointed.
The rental agency (Folly’s Best) was immediately responsive when needed. On arrival, the keypad was having trouble accepting our code for the stay. They had someone over to fix it within 15 minutes. Much appreciated!
We were a bit unlucky in that the townhome property manager (different from the rental management agency) decided to paint the exterior of the building that week/weekend - which limited our use of the outside balconies which was a bummer. The balconies themselves were awesome - loved the view on the main floor and the view off the master bedroom when we could.
Overall - a fantastic stay in Folly and would definitely recommend renting the unit.

Awesome spot. Only critique was you may need to bring more laundry and dishwasher detergent if you’ll be there more than a few days. Can’t think of any other downsides. We really enjoyed it. Perfect for kids too.

Great location: walking distance to restaurants, right on the beach, 30 minute easy drive to downtown Charleston, close to other places of interest. Well furnished: well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, nice deck overlooking the beautiful beach. I would love to stay there again. I stayed in downtown Charleston on a previous trip. I found staying on the beach much better, as I had better access to a variety of activities: theater, market, restaurants in Charleston; tea plantation, the beach, plantations, kayaking, great restaurants outside Charleston.

Home was great and clean! Had all we needed to cook.. but we mostly just walked the 2 blocks to Loggerheads (amazing Flounder and philly cheese steaks) It was only 4 blocks to more restaurants and shops! Id stay here again!

This was our first rental we have done with VRBO. It was a great experience. Michael was super awesome to work with as he always got back to me quickly. The view of the ocean was great, we sat out on the patio alot. The condo was laid out nice and was in great shape. I liked that all of the bedrooms were kind of by themselves and two of them had on suites. It was only a couple blocks away from shopping and restaurants which was nice as well, so we could walk everywhere. I loved the outdoor shower as well. It was nice to be able to rinse off the sand and salt water before going in. I would definitely go back.

Our stay at the villa was really relaxing and in a great location! It was really nice to be able to walk into Folly's little cozy town, but be on the beach at the same time. We had 6 adults (3 couples) stay and it was perfect amount of space for us with two king beds. Would highly recommend this for a family vacation or a weekend getaway.

We stay at this property every summer and LOVE it!! Ideal location to the beach and downtown Folly. Great patio/deck to sit and watch the ocean in the mornings/evenings. Love the layout of the condo...allows for everyone to have some private time/space and then come together for meals/games. Would highly recommend this condo!

This is a fantastic condo in a fantastic location. It is beautifully furnished, well-appointed, and quiet. The view of the ocean dolphins every morning was the perfect start to each day and town was a short walk away. I cannot stress how great a layout this was for our family. The teens could do their own thing without keeping the parents awake which always makes for a great vacation. We would definitely return to this property. As for the owner, Michael is very easy to work with and reach in case there is an issue. (We had about a 10 minute wireless issue which he quickly walked us through.) Highly recommend Snapper Jack's roof top bar for happy hour and Taco Boy for some casual grub. We can't wait to get back!

My family and I spent a week in late April at the condo. For 5 adults, this is a great spot! The view from the living room and master bedroom is fantastic. It was so nice falling asleep to the ocean each night. Easy access to get on the beach, no more than a 2 minute walk. Also a short 5 minute walk into the center of Folly Beach to enjoy restaurants, stores ect. The house is well kept and all the amenities that were provided made for a terrific stay. We wouldn't hesitate to come back again!

This condo was a great choice for our family of 5 adults...and would be good for kids, too. The condo is walking distance to downtown, but still quiet! There is a quiet one-way street to cross, but the access walkway to the ocean is only about 25-30 feet away. The ocean view from the main balcony and upstairs bedroom balcony were perfect! Our best part of our visit was sitting there and enjoying the pelicans that continuously flew by! Clean and comfortable condo and a pretty well stocked kitchen with all appliances you would need and some herbs/spices/oil/s&p, etc. We did a big grocery shopping before we showed up, and realized we forgot coffee. Fortunately, there was a huge container of coffee available! We payed it forward... leaving some beers, hummus, chips and anything else that was not opened. :) Hopefully the next guests enjoyed it! Love that each of the 3 bedrooms had a bathroom. Rooms were clean and beds comfy! Plenty of bath towels and about 6 beach towels available. We ate at Loggerhead's, St. James Gate and brought in from Rita's Seaside Grill (try the salmon) and Woody's Pizza (order early, can take an hour for pick up) Tip: Order take out instead...pick it up and enjoy it on that beautiful balcony! Charleston and area: Visit Magnolia Plantation! Get there early...They open at 8 and begin tours at 9. (You have options for different tours...we purchased 3 tours, but could only stay for 2...They will reimburse you at the admin office for unused tkts.) Visit Patriot's Point for lunch and board the USS Yorktown...it was really cool! So was the Vietnam experience exhibit there. We took a horse carriage ride in Charleston...our 'ping pong ball lottery' brought us north, but it was still a nice hour tour. We took a sunset schooner 2 hour cruise which left from the aquarium area. Bring your own snacks and purchase drinks on board. The 'kids' took an UBER in to Charleston for dinner and partying...they had a great time! When you get to Folly, take a car ride to both ends of the island to get a feel for the area...I wish I did this earlier. You can park and walk to the lighthouse at the east end. (Or bike to it!) So, that is it! I hope my review is helpful! The condo was perfect so we would come stay again! P.S. Careful walking around Folly...no sidewalks and streets are often narrow.

Mr. & Mrs. Utsy went out of their way to make their condo inviting and comfortable. It was clean, well supplied and there were plenty of things for the grandkids to do while taking a break from the beach. The shops and restaurants are well within walking distance and the food was great. We were a group of 6 adults and 3 children and all slept comfortably and did not feel crowded. The master suite was huge and had a private balcony. We had a wonderful vacation and are so glad we chose this condo. I would definitely recommend the area and this particular condo to friends and family. Thanks for a great stay!

The condo looked great online when I booked it, but it far exceeded any expectation I had! The garage area was huge and the closet in the garage had all kinds of beach chairs, canopy tents and beach toys. The condo was very clean and updated. We had 3 couples in the condo, so each of us had our own bedroom. There was plenty of room for all of us! We loved sitting on the balcony and just watching the waves and saw dolphins several times. The beach is literally steps away, which made it very convenient when we forgot something in the room! We are looking forward to going back soon!

My family has been coming to Folly Beach for many years. It was my 96 year old mother's playground (nothing but wild goats, then) as a child. Her family is deeply rooted in Charleston and my father was laid to rest in Magnolia Cemetery. Every time we traveled here we rented one of the McMansions on the beach but NONE of them can compare with our stay, this year, when we rented all 3 of the three family owned units at Ocean Pointe. It was PERFECT. This trip we had nearly 20 family members in attendance. The three units were in close proximity but gave us just the right amount of separation- we had three families with an age range of 5-96. Each unit was BEAUTIFUL and equipped to the max - From the kitchen to outdoor grilling to beach equipment. Amazing. When we had two minor issues or questions, management resolved/answered them instantly! When we needed special considerations for our arrivals and a pontoon boat, management helped us resolve everything. Again, amazing. Thank you Michael. Our "homes" were SO comfortable, so beautiful and SO convenient. We were steps from the beach, had access to swimming pools, three blocks from the center of town....something for everyone. I could hardly get my mother off of our balcony with it's cool breeze and incredible ocean front view, even with the convenience or an elevator to get her to the ground floor. I cannot find the right words to to encourage anyone reading this, that this is the best option in Folly Beach to have the best vacation ever.

We really can't say enough good things about this Townhouse. It had everything we needed and it was so comfortable and clean. We were going to a wedding in Charleston and it was very convenient to get there, about a 15 minute ride. It was also wonderful to be able to walk into Folly beach. This property is absolutely beautiful!! I have stayed at many beach houses over the years and this was by far the nicest ever. Wish I could live here!! Beautifully decorated, great location - close enough to walk to Center Street - but far enough away to be peaceful. I love Folly Beach - laid back, quirky and real. Our favorite restaurant is The Lost Dog Cafe - and tried Woody's Pizza this time - delicious as well. We look forward to returning!

The stay could not have been any better. Michael maintains a beautiful property with the best view of the beach on the street. The attention to detail that is provided from the moment you walk in the door is refreshing and welcoming. Everything that we could think of from coffee in the freezer to wine glasses, dish & washer detergent. Well done! We felt like we were right at home from the moment we walked in the door. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo on Folly Beach! It is spacious and sleeps 10 very comfortably. The view from the multiple porches is wonderful and really puts you in the vacation state of mind. The condo itself is well kept and gorgeous - much more luxurious than the pictures indicate. There is plenty of parking downstairs below the unit. It is right around the corner from the heart of the nightlife and restaurants on Folly Beach. It truly was the perfect spot for our girl's trip and I hope to return soon. Michael was fantastic to coordinate with and I encourage everyone looking for an 8 - 10 person condo to stay here! My friends and I rented this condo for a long weekend visit to Folly Beach. We were extremely happy with the condo and I would definitely stay here again during my next visit to Folly Beach. The condo is very nice and the pictures you see accurately depict how nice and beautiful the condo is. Actually if anything the pictures do not do justice to how beautiful the master bedroom is. The two other bedrooms are nice and sufficient, but the master bedroom is amazing with its own private balcony for two overlooking the beach. The condo is centrally located in Folly Beach. Center Street, which is the main road with all of the restaurants, is two short blocks away. The beach is essentially your front yard. Technically speaking you have to cross a road, but think of this road as the private driveway for the condos as opposed to a well trafficked commercial or residential street. I would wake up and go for a nice run on the beach and then my friends and I would stroll over to Center Street for breakfast at either the Black Magic Cafe or Lost Dog Cafe. Michael, the property manager, is very responsive and accommodating. As soon as I confirmed my rental with him, Michael sent me an email with many helpful links to restaurants and attractions in the Charleston area to plan my visit. Folly Beach is an amazing place to visit and our weekend trip was made all the more wonderful by our stay at this condo.

The condo was great!!! We had a wonderful time in Charleston. The weather could not have been better (Columbus Day week). We were able to visit most of our A list places including a ghost tour. The location on Folly Beach gave us the best of both worlds….easy beach access with a fantastic view and a short drive to Charleston to visit the historic attractions. My girlfriends and I take an annual trip to Folly Beach every September to enjoy the beach and usually stay at Charleston Oceanfront Villas. This year, we stayed at this lovely townhouse and all agreed it was our best trip yet. The unit has a beautiful view of the ocean, easy beach access and is within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants on Center Street. Because it is at the end of the street, there is very little traffic and even though the street separates you from the ocean, there is very little road noise. The unit was very clean and spacious with plenty of bathrooms for six women. Everything we needed was there as far as the kitchen was concerned. Perhaps my biggest compliment, though it may seem silly, is that the towels were incredibly soft, not scratchy like a lot of rentals. We walked to breakfast and dinner both days and enjoyed some stand-up paddleboarding just down the road. I think our favorite thing about this unit, besides how beautiful and clean it is, is that we parked our cars and never moved them until we left on Sunday morning. It was a relaxing weekend and we are already looking forward to returning to this property again next fall.

I wasnt't sure what to expect of Folly Beach and the vacation home we rented, but we were pleasantly surprised. Actually, the home we rented from Michael far exceded our expectations. The home was beautiful. The location and the views were fabulous. Everything was clean when we arrived and the small touches were very much appreciated....i.e, hand soap, tissues, toilet paper, paper towels, just to name a few. We could walk everywhere. We were looking for a Sunday to Sunday rental, which are hard to find. I can't imagine coming over that little bridge into Folly with everyone and their brother on Saturday. We were there for a wedding in Charleston, so this location was perfect....15 min into beautiful Charleston. Michael was easy to deal with, which in turn made our vacation that much nicer. I would highly recommend this vacation home and Folly Beach. We are from Maryland and we throughly enjoyed our visit. Thank you Michael!!!!

This townhome was perfectly located on central Folly Beach. It was an easy walk to the town center, restaurants and the fishing pier. This home honestly exceeded my expectations. I have stayed on Folly several times over the past ten years and this lovely home is by far my favorite! Wonderful views of the ocean from the balconies, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and perfect for families and friends to relax and enjoy the beach. My friends and I especially enjoyed morning coffee and eating our meals on the balcony. The bedrooms allow for privacy as each has its own bath and are located far enough away from each other. Every aspect of this home has been well planned to allow the guests ( no matter what age) a great vacation. My extended family gathered for a Charleston wedding, and the three units that can be rented together were our accommodations. What a wonderful setting! The condo was very clean and tastefully decorated, with everything anyone could want. The beach is right out the back, just steps away. We all enjoyed sitting on the porch and sipping coffee while watching people on the beach and listening to the waves. It feels as though you are on the beach when you are sitting on the porch/balcony. We opened our balcony door from the master bedroom at night, to sleep while listening to the gentle sounds of the waves. It was amazing. Another thing we all loved was the easy access to Charleston. It is a straight shot into the city from Folly, and only takes minutes by car. What could be more perfect than a beach vacation alongside the historic, beautiful city of Charleston?

What a pleasure it was to stay in this beautiful townhome on Folly Beach. We stayed there during the Christmas holidays and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is one of the most well decorated and well appointed beach homes I have ever stayed at! They had everything we seemed to need and more! We really enjoyed using the bikes to explore the island. There were games to play, books to read, wireless internet and several TV's. It was quite cold during our stay, so we appreciated the extras. The manager, Michael was very easy to work with and helpful when we needed more blankets. We especially appreciated the elevator as our son uses a wheelchair. We would love to come back during the warmer months and look forward to booking this unit again.

Our recent stay was very relaxing and enjoyable! This was our 3rd stay at folly beach, 1st at this unit, and we would certainly return. The unit was clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped. It was just as it looked in the photos. The instructions for arrival/departure were very easy. We loved the location to the beach and town. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the balcony, taking in the views of the ocean and beach. Although the kitchen is very well equipped, we enjoy the many resturants in town, and being able to walk everywhere. We love Lost Dog and Loggerhead to name a few. A new favorite is now Woodys Pizza. The white pizza was outstanding (we got take out, and ate on the balcony). We can't wait to get back to Folly Beach. Lori & Rich

This is our 4th or 5th time staying at your home. We love that the kitchen is fully stocked which makes one of our favorite meals that much easier. We like to cook cheese grits and prepare fresh cole slaw. Then we go to Dave's Carry Out to buy shrimp platters or seafood platters (depending upon how hungry we are). We come back and enjoy our meal, while taking in the amazing view of the ocean from the dining table at the condo. I have a broken leg right now (running injury) so I appreciate that this condo is handicapped accessable. The elevator made the stay easier. The walk to the beach is so close...that I could still make it ..even with a stress fracture. The condo is spacious for my family of 5, but could easily accomadate a larger family. The internet access and cable are a bonus for rainy days. We will be staying again.

The condo was very spacious and had all the amenities you'll need for nice relaxing stay at Folly. The condos are situated in front of public beach access, so walk is VERY short to ocean..walk out of condo, cross road, BOOM you are crossing dunes onto beach. Owners had bikes available as well as let us have access to owner's storage (few sand chairs, beach sports items), all linens included so less extra weigh to load in/load out..BEAUTIFUL wide beach..lots of beach even at high tide...easy quick drive to historic Charleston..WELL WORTH A DAY spent seeing the city...I'm not crazy about a 10:00am check out....still on vacation time, I prefer 11:00am esp for us older gals..:)

Michael, where do I begin. Our big family stayed in your 3 Townhomes last week and it was absolutely wonderful. We could not have asked for better accomodations. We have stayed in many of the rentals on Folly Beach over the years and we must say that these were the very best that Folly has to offer.
