Folly Beach Stay

We had a fabulous stay. Great location the beach was a super short walk which was great for the little kids. The beds were super comfortable for everyone. The kitchen had plenty of counter space for feeding everyone. The outdoor living space was great for kids and adults. The outdoor shower was a life saver.
I wish they had coffee already there and beach towels and chairs for us to use. Other than that it was a 10/10 place.

We could not have been more happy. This house is better than described and the photos do not do it justice. Beach access right across the street. It's a short drive to the strip. Very peaceful and quiet. extremely comfortable and just what we needed.

We LOVED this house. It was perfect for our family of 4. The house is located conveniently across the street from the beach public access and just a short less than a mile drive to the shops and restaurants. There are ocean views in the front and grasslands behind (we actually saw a deer one morning). We have stayed at other rentals where the pictures looked a lot nicer than what we saw in person but this house was better in person than the pictures. We will definitely go back.

We enjoyed our stay at this house. It is very close to the beach, which was great. It was well-furnished, and fit our family well. We had an issue with the living room ceiling fan not working, and they were prompt about sending maintenance out to take a look. Very well run and maintained property.

This home was exactly as it was listed. We had 6 adults an infant and our Pomeranian and had more than enough space.
This was the cleanest AirBNB I’ve been stayed at. I loved everything about it.
I would definitely go back again!

The house is lovely, as is its location. We loved listening to the waves on the front porch and looking over the marsh from the back porch. The walk to the beach was 3 minutes and put us on a great,not crowded part of the beach. We are just hoping that 916 W Ashley and the wonderful neighboring properties are spared by hurricane Dorian!

This property was the perfect fit for my family of 4. The house is beautifully done with perfect beach accents throughout. The location is wonderful with walking access to the beach and the beach is beautiful! Folly Best Rentals was a delight to work with and a huge shout out to Stephanie who was superb! We will be back to visit Folly again & hope to stay in this location next summer! I hightly reccommend!

We loved the property. It was nicely decorated and well kept. It had everything we needed. Only suggestion we would make is for grip strips to be put on the stairs.

We stayed with my wife, sister in law, and my two kids 6 and 8. The beach was amazing other than the windy conditions but we made the best of it. It was so close to the beach! The house surpassed all our expectations. Very very clean and the best part our golden retriever Bella loved it. We would stay at this house again when we come back to folly!!!

I think the owner has done a good job of providing a relaxing atmosphere in almost every aspect. I would recommend that they add a little more seating. The chair without arms is not functional. Other than that, very well done! We hope to be back next summer and would enjoy staying at this beautiful property again.

We spent two weeks on Folly! We loved the location as well as the decor of Folly Beach Stay. The beds and bedding were so comfortable! The beach at the west end of the island is perfect! It was so easy to get to the beach. So easy to get to Charleston - however, we loved grabbing fresh fish from Crosby's and eating at home. Only wish there were cushions on the chairs in the dining room. :) Would go back next year but we want a bigger home.

We really wanted to give this rental 5 stars, but for some very minor suggestions below. This was my family's first stay on Folly Beach, and it far exceeded our expectations for lovely, clean beach, relaxed vibe and surprisingly delicious cuisine options. The house is new, clean and in excellent condition. The beds are comfortable, beach access is across the street and the back porch (both screened and un-screened) offers lovely views over the marsh on the inland side. In sum, we loved the house, which was perfect for our needs! The rental agency, Folly's Best Rentals, was communicative and helpful. It was no problem arranging for a crib for our baby. The home was very clean upon our arrival, and the keyless entry system was nice offering, as we didn't have to worry about losing keys at the beach. Our one gripe, but one that could save travelers some aggravation, is that the home was very minimally stocked. Renting a beach house for 4 days, we assumed there might be a few beach towels available for use, but none were provided. Neither were there any beach chairs (they existed, but were padlocked). The kitchen had no basics whatsoever-- we arrived with bags of groceries for cooking, only to find that there was no salt, no pepper, no butter, NOTHING to even season some eggs. We have rented many, many homes across the USA, and we have honestly never encountered this before. Again, this is a minor gripe and salt/pepper is cheap... but then again, salt/pepper is cheap, and we paid a fair amount to have an easy vacation. Towels and kitchen basics would have made things a lot easier and more comfortable-- a suggestion for management!

This was a most enjoyable stay for my husband and I and our 2 dogs. The décor, linens, and room sizes were top notch. Nice , new , clean washer and dryer and DW. The soaking tub in the master bath was heavenly, as was the separate, large ,newly tiled shower. My husband is a 6'3" ex-line backer and he loved being able move freely around rather than being cramped in any direction. Hearing the ocean from the windows and porches relaxed us, and provided morning and afternoon sun. Our visitors had their own charming bedrooms and bathroom, so no one felt "on top of each other". We had our mail forwarded weekly, and Olympia in the office either called , or she/Greg dropped it off to us .We walked across the street to the beach every day . The only cons are tiny: the knives needed sharpening and more prep knives would have been useful. The "chaise lounge" portion of the couch was quite difficult to extract oneself from. As we have 2 dachshunds , we had to carry them up and down the 24 steps 4 times a day for them to "do their thing" ( their backs cant handle stairs). Without the pups, the steps were just fine ! We would love to return here and recommend it without hesitation!

What a beautiful place to spend time on Folly. The house is beautifully decorated , very clean and just the right size. Access to the beach is just across the street and what a wonderful beach. This is a house I would definitely plan to come to again;actually already checking the calendar for next year! A perfect time on Folly in a perfect house.

Folly Beach Stay is a lovely house; very nicely decorated and spotless. You can hear the ocean from the front porch and find peace on the back screened porch with view of the marsh and a private marina. Great location for our family - an easy walk to the beach and just 20 minutes to Charleston (without traffic.) The house was a perfect size for two couples and a grown child although the twin bed in the 3rd bedroom was a little small for our daughter. I agree the pictures don't do the house justice. Lots of amenities including the outdoor shower, covered parking, washing machine & dryer and a TV in every room. We'd love to come back and hope very much today's storm doesn't hurt this wonderful property.

I stumbled upon this house the day before I checked in and was so glad that I made the last-minute decision to stay here. The house provided the perfect amount of living space for my husband, two young sons and me during our 6-day stay in Folly Beach. The house was in great condition and the living and kitchen areas provided nice, open space for my family. The screened in porch was great, too. The pictures don't do the house justice. I look forward to a future stay here! Melissa from Folly's Best was very helpful and patient with me in making my last-minute rental reservation and answering my many questions. She also surprised us with a cake, balloons and small gift bag in celebration of my husband's 40th birthday. My husband was delighted, and I was truly astounded by this kind and thoughtful gesture.

My partner and I stayed at this location just this past week and it was excellent. The home is brand new with great features including two decks, large soaking tub, 3 bedrooms (large master bedroom), lare kitchen and liVing room . Plus the beach is directly across the street. Also since this home is located almost at the end of the road it was very quite and away from Center St where all the resturant and bars are located at. We were amazed of how clean and modern the house was while still maintaining that clean beachy feel. I would highly recommend this place for a couple or small family. If we are to stay in Folly Beach again we will be sure to stay here again.

Our extended family (and dog) loaded up the car and landed at the Folly Beach Stay - a wonderful 3-bedroom house across from the beach and an easy walk or bike ride into town. The wonderfully decorated and fully furnished beach home felt like a high end resort with all the comforts of home! The location is perfect with beach access just out the front door, while the outdoor shower made for easy clean up before heading into town. We are already planning our next trip this spring and know this place will continue to exceed our expectations!

This home was amazing! Brand new, theme of décor is true to beach environment, amazing view and wonderful back deck. During our stay, we were able to ride our bikes everywhere and rarely needed to use our vehicle. Owner was very informative and available if we had questions. If you are looking for a little piece of paradise, you don't need to look any longer! This is the best vacation home I have ever stayed at. The house looks brand new, it was decorated impeccably and had everything you would ever need. In addition, Folly Beach is an amazing little town: whether you want to ride your bike everywhere you go or eat at wonderful local restaurants, it has all of this and much more. My family and I will definitely return to this town, and especially, this house!

I just returned home from a week's stay at Folly Beach Stay in Folly Beach, SC. What an awesome house that we had for the week. The only thing we needed was our groceries. Everything else was furnished. I was blown away with the way the house was furnished and decorated. It was so comfortable. Just steps away from the beach and the ocean water. Downtown Folly was just down the street. A mile or so by bike car or a good walk. From the front you hear the ocean and from the back you see the harbor. This home was well thought out for vacationers like me. I will definitely be back!

If you are interested in staying in an inviting, warm, cozy home Folly Beach Stay is for you! It was relaxing and had everything we needed. The beautiful beach is steps away, restaurants and shops are a short walk or bike ride down the street and Charleston is just 10 minutes by car. However, it was hard to leave the home since it was so beautifully designed. The house is even accommodating for children and pets! You'll love your stay and before you leave I highly suggest watching the sunset on the back deck!

What an amazing new beach house on Folly! The amenities are fantastic: front porch, screened-in back porch as well as an open deck, full-service kitchen, family room and 3 bedrooms. Loved the full size washer and dryer! We brought our dog since there is a crate provided :) House is walking distance to the beach and to all that Folly has to offer! Definitely will be staying here again!
