Unfortunately we came to Edisto for a funeral, so it was a sad, quick trip for us. But a very nice house and can see it would make a wonderful vacation house!

The Paper House is very nice and we especially loved the peaceful quiet, trees, deer and short ride to town and beach, which also were very laid back. Good time for six adults and a dog ... especially the dog.

We would definitely come back again. The house has everything that you would need. The lot that the home sits on is a perfect place for families and our dogs. Our dogs loved getting out in the morning and watching the deer. We all enjoyed going in to the ocean and it was especially fun for our grandchildren and dogs in the evening. Very convenient to the ocean.

We absolutely loved the paperhouse! The home was spotless and everything was just like the photos. Such a private and peaceful setting, yet only minutes to the beach and all that Edisto has to offer. One of our favorite things to do was watch the deer that came in the yard every morning and evening. We will definitely be back!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Paper House over the weekend with a few girlfriends from college. The house was absolutely gorgeous! Very clean, well decorated, and comfortable. The owners spared no expense on beautiful light fixtures and tiled bathrooms. I also loved the very large front and back porch (with plenty of seating). I will certainly be renting this home again and cannot recommend it enough!

The house is immaculate and well-suited for hosting pups! We enjoyed nice walks through the neighborhood and afternoons lounging on the deck. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need, we cooked a few meals and baked some cookies with no issues! A really great spot, we will be back!

Absolutely exceeded our expectations! This place is phenomenal!! The location is 7 minutes from the beach, and 10 minutes away from charters and many other attractions! We love Edisto, and will definitely be back!!

If you want to go to the beach and also have a peaceful getaway in the woods at the same time, look no further. Our family had a wonderful time in the lovely 'Paper House'. (Read the reason it's called the Paper House when you get there, it's adorable!). The house is as good as it looks in the pictures and the location is great if you want to walk in the woods or just have a peaceful coffee amongst the trees in the morning. The beach is a short 10 minute drive away if you want that too. Would definitely recommend!
