We loved the location. Very beautiful and peaceful. Very dog friendly and we love dogs. We took our two pups with us and they had a great time. The area was not crowded at all. A great place to relax! Will definitely stay here again.

The place was beautiful ! We loved staying right on the beach. However the beach sand replenishment project was going on in front of the building all day and night. Fortunately the bedroom is in the back.

Love that it has a dedicated parking spot in busy Folly Beach. 3rd floor, awesome view of beach, lots of stairs and no elevator which is fine (except my wife has some fear of heights, so had to take her up slow). Responsive staff when I’d needed help with parking location. Stuff well maintained, good fridge, etc. only problem we had was with a dog next unit over that barked until 2am first night… no fault of these folks. Overall thought it was great!

We love coming back to Folly Beach and usually stay for a month, but this stay was only a few days. This unit is right next door to the condo unit we normally stay at, so we know the area fairly well. The owner of this unit obviously puts time and money back into it, which is nice to see. The booking of this unit may have been my error, thought I was booking an end unit from pictures we looked at, but ended up with an inside unit. Property is pet friendly, but at top of stairs and with the possibility of other guests walking by may create more commotion from our dog than an end unit would. However, we were the only people on the 3rd floor during our stay. Again, this was most likely my fault and not paying attention, but something to think about by future guests with dogs. Unit is right on Beach and only steps or a few blocks away from a convenient store ( Bert's) or restaurants. Didn't do our short drive into Charleston this past year, but that is always a nice day event.

We have come to Folly many times in the past few years and this might be our favorite place to stay! It was fun to meet the other neighbor pets people brought on vacation and we loved being able to walk right down to the beach. The place was very comfortable and had every amenity we needed. Condo was clean and well maintained. Super comfy bed. We stayed in mid-May, temps outside in the lower 80’s. A/C cannot be turned below 72, and it always seemed a bit stuffy in the apartment due to the humidity. The ceiling fans in main area and bedroom worked wonderfully, and we had also brought our own small fan. It was convenient having a washer/dryer attached to the actual apartment included. Definitely recommend this condo as it is well maintained, oceanfront, and close distance to bars and restaurants.

Life's twists and turns have stolen me from home but as my 2nd birthday (also Valentine's Day) as a widow crept closer, I longed to dig my heels into the sandy beaches of my childhood. I wanted easy, no chaos, beautiful views, the roar of the ocean. The condo felt like a home, not the sterile feel of a hotel I was avoiding. The views are EXTRAORDINARY, but you"ll put in work for them carrying groceries up to the 3rd flr. Parking is easy. I never moved my car. It's not quiet-- with the location and the neighbors but those sounds felt charming, like I was including in the nbrhd. Not having a washer/dryer is difficult at the beach so plan that better than I did. The views from inside AND outside cannot be matched. You can also hear the ocean from inside the condo.

Lovely place. Ocean front so that says it all about the view. Very clean. The shower knob was stuck, but once contacted the maintenance, the repair crew showed up literally within minutes and fixed it. The bed is amazingly comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need. Gave it 5 out of 5.

Pluses: Awesome view. Dolphins every day! Great location, (though I would not want to be there during peak season. I'm more introverted and we like our privacy so I can imagine that the busy season would be more chaotic). Comfortable space, king bed, and well equipped kitchen. Minuses: Thin walls between neighboring condos. We were in 3B. The first few days in 3A were a really nice family with a toddler and an infant who were up at 5:45ish each day, running, squealing, and playing. We understand, but this was not very relaxing for us. The unit was empty for perhaps 5 days. We had the 3rd floor to ourselves. It was wonderful! Then a couple stayed in 3A for several days. He had a bad cold and his cough could be heard through the walls at all hours that they and we were home. Then there was the afternoon that they made love and I went to walk the beach again to get away from the sound. $$$$: This condo was very expensive. I was shocked by all of the large extra expenses that I hadn't known were added on to our rental. I should have paid better attention and certainly will from now on. Exposure to chemicals in dryer sheets of neighboring renters. I'm chemically sensitive so this made it difficult to enjoy the balcony at times. (The unit was virtually scent free other than the scented kitchen trash bags, which we sealed up in a ziplock bag, placed in the under the sink cupboard, and put the container outside. We used paper and plastic bags from grocery shopping instead) Suggestions: Full length black-out curtains in the bedroom. The blinds are good quality but light still comes through. We looked at the price for this unit for next year at the same time and the price in increasing by over $1000. As much as we enjoyed the views and most of the experience, we'll be looking around. I know, it's Folly.

WE SPENT A COUPLE BEAUTIFUL DAYS AT FOLLY. WE NORMALLY STAY AT THE TIDES BUT WE BROUGHT OUR DOG LOKI AND THOUGHT THE CONDO WOULD BE A BETTER FIT. WE LOVED THRE LOCATION BEING THAT WE HAD BEEN TO FOLLY NUMEROUS TIMES. LOKI WAS THE THIRD FLOOR GREETER AND FOR HER SHE WAS SUPER COMFORTABLE, AND SHE STAYED OFF THE FURNITURE. SHE IS NOT ALLOWED AT HOME. ALL IN ALL, WE LOVED OUR STAY . ONE THING A DUMB WAITER FOR LUGGAGE WOULD BE GREAT 48 STAIRS UP, 48 STAIRS DOWN.

Nice property, very clean and well stocked. The only negatives are that it's a 3rd floor walk-up, and that the stairs leading up to the 3rd floor are directly in front of the window (those coming up to the other units on the 3rd floor like to stop and look in). There are blinds that you can close, but then you lose the beautiful view of the ocean. Overall, very nice property and it is well maintained.

Really enjoyed my stay on Folly Beach with my two Lakeland terriers. Having the parking space is key. Location is amazing; just a short walk to Bert's and Chico Feo. Be ready to walk up and down stairs. Well worth it for the view and location.

Very easy rental process and check in/out. We were able to bring our 2 dogs with us which can sometimes be tough to find a nice place. We had a great time on our mini- vacation. The condo was very nice and very clean. It was decorated nicely and everything looked pretty up- to-date and fresh. We had a great view of the ocean and we got our exercise walking up the steps. The bed was nice and comfortable and the sheets were very fresh and clean. The condo was very handy to restaurants and the little grocery store. We would definitely stay there again.

Just a couple of blocks from downtown Folly Beach, perfect one bedroom with King, outstanding views, 40 feet from beach. Clean, well decorated, nice kitchen. 3rd floor, so be ok with 49 steps :). Mattress on King Bed needs to be replaced, and fireplace was on paper big draw, but never could get it to stay lit. Would stay here again though!

The property was very clean and comfortable. The bed and bedding were comfy. The location was perfect, right on the beach, within walking distance to restaurants, bars shop and less than a block from Bert’s market Just a short drive to downtown Charleston. We will definitely be back!

We loved being able to sit and look out at the ocean. It’s so mesmerizing and immediately lowers your blood pressure. Walks on the beach were perfect . This place was immaculate and so well decorated. Pictures are accurate and really a great find. Questions were always answered immediately.

Great place and quick replies from Follys best. To get to the condo you will walk by a lot of other guests. The patios are all connected but everyone is quiet and keeps to themselves. It didn’t bother us. We had a nice time :) and PERFECT place to watch the sunrise

We loved the condo!! The condo offered a beautiful view, all the odds and ends in the kitchen including coffee filters, spices, cooking utensils etc. We were able to walk to everything from this location. Food, drinks, market and shops. The only cons was I really really wished I had a k cup coffee maker and that we could adjust the air. It was very humid during our stay and we weren't able to adjust the thermostat.

Just got back from a long weekend at Beautiful Sunrise and had a great time. The location cannot be beat!!! Located on the top floor, directly on the water gives you gorgeous ocean views. And when it comes time for dinner, you are a two minute walk from the bars and restaurants of Center Street. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice. House looks older but the condo is nicely appointed. Plenty of cooking things. Very near the pier for pier people. It is currently under repair from storm damage. Beach was pretty full here, but further to the left, less people were enjoying the beach. Three story walk up, so don’t take a lot unless you use walking steps for your fitness program.

The view from the third floor porch and eating area in the LR/Kitchen was terrific. There are 4 flights of stairs to navigate so pack lightly unless you are in tip-top physical condition.

Everything about this experience was easy-peasy enjoyable. Booking and check-in was a snap, the property was sparkling clean, and the location was PERFECT. Right on the beach, just like in the pictures—and no fighting for parking! Do yourself a favor— grab this property, book the chair and umbrella company they recommend in their email (trust me on this one), stick your toes in the soft, soft sand and relax!

This rental was exactly as described, pictured and reviewed. Very clean and welcoming. Right on the beach. Just a few blocks walk to all of the restaurants and shops. Small grocery store just steps away. The condo was well stocked with beach chairs, board games, extra blankets, and anything you could think of for a beach stay. Check in was simple and perfect. Great Location. Walked right out and surfed the break next to the pier. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants in the main corridor. Berts market is a little Gem! 1 block away. Everything you need. Nothing you don’t. Suprisingly close to downtown charleston. The condo is small. It will sleep 4 , but it’s cramped and you better like each other.

Great location. Park the car and walk everywhere. The balconies are shared and also the washer/dryer room shared between two units. That shared utility room felt a little strange to us. Now if you had another couple that you knew able to rent right beside you that would be great.

This was a perfect spot for my daughter and me to enjoy a quick getaway. The condo was very clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the ocean. We loved that it is right at the waters edge which was perfect to just step out for long walks on the gorgeous beach. The outside seating is somewhat shared among the 4 condos. It's not private but when we were there, only one condo was filled with a man and his (sometimes barking) dog. It is close to the pier which is currently under full construction. It's a lovely beach with one huge park at one end which was undeveloped and beautiful at sunset and a quaint little center town with several great restaurants. It was perfect for our purposes!

A great vacation starts with a great place to stay in a great location, and I’m not sure we would stay anywhere else in Charleston than Folly’s Best to be honest. The place was clean and up to date and the bed (Huge!) and linens were very comfortable. The ability to have our pup with us and the beach access was perfect. If you don’t want to get in a car for your entire stay, there is more than enough available all within 6 blocks (all dog friendly!) to eat and shop. Downtown Charleston and all of its amenities is a super easy 15 minute drive away. To top everything off, Follys Best promised us to refund our final day as we had to evacuate due to Hurricane Florence...while our neighbor next door rented off another company and was receiving no such refund for their entire stay! Great experience top to bottom!

Very nice accommodations. Centrally located to shops and restaurants within a short walk. The rental company was very responsive to our needs when the air conditioning quit and the condo reached 84 degrees at midnight. It was repaired the next day. Thankfully there are screens to let in the ocean breeze. The 7-flight, 57-step climb up to the unit is not for the faint of heart! You do get your exercise. Sitting on the porch watching the sunrise and action on the beach is worth the climb!

This was one of the cleanest rentals I have ever rented! That includes hotels. The place was also very organized. The view of the beach was great. the location is the best. We were able to walk to some of the best restaurant and a local grocery was near enough for the basics. It was also dog friendly so our dog, Clarence was able to enjoy watching the beach from the porch.
