This was a great house for our family with big rooms and lots of gathering space st each level! Beautiful setting amongst the trees, with an easy walk to the beach.
*There was a brand new house being constricted that now blocks what was previously a beautiful sunset view. Also - this constriction started very early Saturday morning. None of this can be controlled by the rental company, but I do believe the listing should be updated to reflect the fact that the sunset view will no longer exist - except for a small peek of it from the crowd nest.

My family and I just stayed at this rental for our beach vacation. This was by far the best vacation rental I’ve ever stayed at. It was spotless. There was so much room for everyone and the beds were amazingly comfortable. The views can’t be beat and the walk to the ocean takes 2 minutes. I plan to come back and rent this property again. I am so thankful that we were able to stay here for our vacation. It made leaving very difficult. Can’t wait to come back!

My family and I enjoyed our entire stay in this place. The house was exceptionally clean and spacious except for the kitchen. But we were aware of it so it was never been an issue. The host was really great, he kept in touch at all times and offered an open communication even if it was holiday. The check in and out were also smooth. I highly recommend this place to those looking for a homey and relaxing vibe close to the ocean and love to go see places nearby. I would love to go back to this place.

The house is very spacious overall, but the kitchen is really small. We were doing Thanksgiving and have some cooks, so a bit of a challenge, but it all worked. There are two open living areas and a nice deck on the lower level and two decks on the upper level. One has a crows nest where you have a great view of the ocean. The upstairs bedrooms are really large which worked well for us. We brought our dogs and had plenty of room for the dog crates. The beds were all very comfortable. It was an easy 5 min walk to the beach right at the washout. Traffic might be busier during the summer, but we did not have any problem accessing the beach. Check-in and check-out were easy and any time I had a question prior to our visit, they were answered promptly. We had no issues during our stay. We had plenty of room for people to watch TV and sports, while others engaged in games and puzzles. Overall we really enjoyed this house.

Beautiful home steps from the ocean. We loved how quiet and peaceful the house was, the five well appointed bedrooms, and how spacious the house was. There are gorgeous trees shading one side of the house with views of the creek on one side and ocean on the other.
As other reviewers have shared, the kitchen is very narrow so not much space for more than one person to move around. We didn’t do too much cooking other than breakfast so wasn’t an issue for our crew but just wouldn’t be a place where I’d want to prepare Thanksgiving supper!
Highly recommend visiting Morris Island Lighthouse and walking around the beach there; it’s just a five minute drive from the house.

Nice house. Location was ok. I would have expected at least to be on the beach road for the money. The kitchen is on the small side if you have a large group but was fine for the four of us.

This house has five bedrooms with three of them being large with king beds. Lots of living space and great view from the top deck. My family spent evening there talking and enjoying the ocean view. Would stay here again. House was very clean and maintained. Location was walking distance from the beach. Neighbors were friendly. Nice to have a place where everyone had their own bedroom. Ladies thought the kitchen was small, but didn't spend alot of time in there. Highly recommended.

We rented this house for a week to attend a wedding in Charleston. It worked great. The ladies wished for a full Length mirror or 2, but that's being picky for a vacation home. 5 min walk to the beach, and beach views from most rooms and decks. Sadly we didn't hit great beach weather, but it's March, and still 20° warmer than new England. 2 miles to downtown Folly Beach, with lots of restaurants and a cpl shops. The house was well equipped with the world's smallest kitchen. Otherwise plenty of room for up to 10 guests

This property looked exactly as the photos that were shown. The house was very clean, had great views of the ocean and river, was well-stocked with essential items, and had spacious rooms. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were decorated nicely with a coastal theme. There was plenty of hot water when taking showers. It was a short walk to the beach. There were several grocery stores, restaurants, and shops located nearby. It was about a thirty-minute drive to the Battery in Charleston. The Wi-fi did not cooperate with the televisions in the upstairs' bedrooms, but otherwise worked alright elsewhere.

The house was large and spacious, close walk to the beach, kitchen was small but functional and had a lot of extras. Two living rooms, large balconies. We had bikes delivered for our stay and biked the island as needed and went into town for most dinners, which was a short ride. We'd say here again and were treated great by the rental company, place was very clean and fresh!

We stayed here over Labor Day weekend with 8 adults and 2 kids (ages 4 and 6). As well as our 2 labs. The house was perfect for our needs. Everyone had their own room and plenty of room to spread out. Decorated cute with beach theme. All the decks were amazing! The trees around home were gorgeous! Felt very private. Recommend plenty of mosquito spray due to closeness of river. We had plenty of room to park 3 cars. Views were good. Short walk to beach. Not very crowded. Far away enough from busy area of Folly Beach. Made use of the provided beach toys. It was nice to have outdoor showers outside to rinse ourselves, toys and dogs after beach. Check in was so easy. Everything done on-line and code was sent to us. We went directly to house and walked right in! Plenty of towels provided. Kitchen was well stocked (although the smallest room in house). Enjoyed our stay and made many memories! Thank you!

We had an amazing week in Folly and the true test of a property is that it rained much of the week. The house accommodated all of us well - the location was perfect to get back during the rain and we had a great time. Kitchen is small but it worked just fine. Thank you for sharing this spot!

We had a great stay at this property! It was tucked back on folly beach with a very quick walk to the beach and easy to get to restaurants and shops on the main road. Communication was great and while there was an AC easy in the house prior to our arrival, it was addressed within 30 minutes of our check in. The house was clean, came with all the essentials, and spacious enough for our large group. All of the outdoor space is an extra bonus!

Folly's best was an incredible stay. 9 of us traveled for a bachelorette party, and this home was perfect. Check in was super easy. It fit everyone very comfortable, with 5 LARGE bedrooms and ample bathrooms. There is a plethora of outdoor space and patio seating, with amazing views (don't miss the sunset!) It is a 3 minute walk from the beach. It is a bit far from Charleston downtown, so ensure you plan accordingly or have a car available. also, the kitchen is quite small, so definitely a consideration, but it did not hinder us at all. Definitely do recommend.

The home was beautiful, spacious, and very well stocked with all the essentials. There's a great view of the beach and very close to the river. The only down sides to this home is the kitchen is small, only room for about 2 people to move around. However, it does have everything you need. The other down side is there's about 2 flights of stairs. It's a long haul getting your stuff up and down. There is a great local store a few minutes up the road for any last minute needs. Also, If you want to venture out but not go too far away there's a quiant little beach town with shops and places to grab a bite just a few minutes away. I will definitely recommend this house and keep it on my list to revisit.

We met family at Folly Beach for Christmas 2021. The house was large enough for us to have our own space and gather easily. Second floor living space was beautiful with great views. All balcony, deck space was very nice too. Very easy, short walk to the beach. Small kitchen wasn’t a problem and there were 8 of us. Close enough to downtown Charleston, we were able to go for lunch, shopping, touring. Highly recommend.

WiFi was terrible, we were not be able to do anything with a laptop on the WiFi and though they had streaming options for TV you’re better off using the cable package. This was a fantastic house and we would rent it again through Follys Best Rentals.

the pictures do not do this house justice! it was great for our group of 9 that stayed for a wedding. the rooms are pretty spacious and all have tvs. the common areas are spacious and have plenty of seating. the multiple decks were awesome and you can see great views of the beach from there (watch out for slippery spiral stairs going to top deck). there were plenty of hoses outside of the house to rinse sandy toes. the AC works great and there are ceiling fans in each room. there were plenty of bathrooms (bring your own tp). they are kind enough to provide some laundry pods, dish soap, sponge, a few trash bags, and a papertowel roll and some cheap scotts toilet paper. they provide plenty of towels and have bathroom rugs. bring your bug spray! you'll still get bit on the decks. they definitely had plenty of dishes and cups stocked, and cooking supplies. fridge was clean and empty. bring your own condiments. there are about 3 spacious parking spots.
uber/lyfts are harder to request in the evening since they're coming from charleston, but they are available, just takes a while to come by. we went to lost dog almost every morning for breakfast/lunch. so delish! local marts are a bit overpriced, so bring as many essentials/food/etc so you spend less there. the beach was literally a 3 minute walk from the house. lots of surfers there.
we had a great time at the house especially for a group our size, it was perfect. wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the beach more.

Highly recommend this house!! Plenty of space in this awesome house. Decks on each level, two living areas, spacious bedrooms, plenty of yard for kids to play, away from busy roads and noisy town center but less than a 2 minute walk to the beach. Kitchen is very tiny but has everything we needed. There is no outdoor grill with this house (we lucked out because someone bought one and left it there!) Very doggie friendly. Management was extremely helpful. We will definitely rent this house again!

This beach house was lovely! Plenty of space and comfortable bedrooms. The view of the sunset from the roof deck was unbelievable! The kitchen was very small, but stocked well. We also had trouble connecting to the WIFI. Luckily, we didn’t even need it with the beach just a 4 minute walk away! Not much more we could ask for!
