This was a great getaway for us, our daughter and grandchildren for Thanksgiving. Easy access to the beach and a terrific view from the balconies. Walkable to restaurants and shops. Condo is lovely and was very clean with everything we needed. Would love to stay here again!

My family loved this condo. It was roomy, all king sized beds (awesome!), nice kitchen, 3 bathrooms and 2 balconies which is where we spent most of our time. The ONLY drawback was the construction/renourishment that was going on at the beach, right across from our condo. Hopefully, that will be done soon. We were there Sept 2024.

Great place and location. Views couldn’t be better. The place is within walking distance to everything and the rental company provides the basics to get you started. You will need to purchase your own (or rent) beach chairs and umbrella(s). Plenty of places to get those things. We will be back.

Amazing location!! Great views of the beach with a balcony on the second and third floor. Very private. The condo was super nice. Amazing main bedroom with a private large tub to soak in and stand up shower. A second shower on the second floor. I love to cook and is a primary reason I get AirBnBs. This was our second time staying at Summer Wind. We thoroughly enjoy this property and the location. Beautiful beach views and plenty of amenities. Don’t pass up sunrise walks on the easily accessible beach!! Area feels safe and you can walk to restaurants and shops in Folly Beach. Charleston attractions are a short drive.

Nice condo across the street from the beach, with great ocean views. Easy walking distance to the stores, restaurants, and bars on Center Street and nearby. The beach directly in front of the property can get crowded (especially on the weekend) with daytrippers and overflow from a large nearby condo complex, which is either a good or bad depending on what you're after.

Perfect location everything is walking distance. Kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook! Beds are very comfortable! The only negative was there is nothing to take to the beach. No chairs, stuff for kids, etc.

We loved our stay at Summer Wind. We were with our adult children and adolescent grand-daughter, and everyone had a marvelous time. The views from both decks were wonderful, and best of all, it felt private and relatively quiet. Our only disturbance was a full day of roadwork, which was noisy and unpleasant. On normal days, however, the small one-way street between the condo and the beach, was not a n issue, and had very little traffic. The distance from the condo to the beach is minimal, and it is a short walk to restaurants and shops in town. We will definitely be back!

Great location and accommodations. Enjoyed the area. My only feedback would be to include the unit number in the correspondence and some instructions on where to go from the parking area. We arrived at night and it was pretty dark. We ended up trying to access a door that was a closet instead of the actual entry which was up above. :). I found the unit number in the last photo in the listing itself. We were able to call and reach the management group straight away and get direction so kudos to the communication side!

We were in town visiting our daughter from CofC for Parents Weekend. Quick, easy drive to the college. Great house with beautiful view. Walkable to restaurants and things to do. Lots of kitchen supplies. My only minor issue was I requested an early check-in and was told I could check in at 2pm for an additional $100. Not a big deal, but seemed like a lot of money for 2 hours when the house seemed empty during that time (we were nearby waiting). Overall, I highly recommend!

We polar plunged, walked the beach, and enjoyed the walkable distance to the Folly’s most social area. The beds were very comfortable and linens were clean. The apartment was perfectly divided for privacy with three king size bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We didn’t ask the host for anything because everything we could have needed was provided. We enjoyed every moment and hope to return soon!

Stayed here for a girls trip and it was so nice with plenty of space. First off I like the condo had an elevator and plenty of parking. The location was just very short walk from all the bars and restaurants, plus beautiful beach view and easy access to the beach. All of the bedrooms were comfortable and spacious, with bathrooms connected or just in the hall. Bathrooms were great, clean, neat and a lot of room. You definitely wouldn’t mind spending your time in this condo of your vacation.

Our stay couldn't have been better. I have used VRBO all over the states and world and nothing irritates me more than when what is promoted is not delivered. Whether its pictures being deceptive to problems with internet or lack of response from owner/property manager, this was a perfect stay with no issues whatsoever. Lastly, everything was in walking distance-we never had to use our vehicle the entire time we were there.

Location was perfect short walk to town and the ocean! I was nervous the ocean was not close but it is literally across a tiny one way road. Balcony was amazing we pretty much lived out there if we were not at the ocean. Summerwind was clean spacius and better than we expected. Downtown was great - lots of live music great coffee and awesome people.

We planned to have 5 in our party, but something came up and it was only 2 of us. Loved the location of this property, it was so convenient to "town". We never got in our cars and walked everywhere. The views and ease to which we get to the beach were also pleasantly surprising!!! just a short little walk. Best company set up beach rentals for us and they were delivered & picked up from the car port. very nice!! The kitchen had every thing we needed to cook & coffee pot and Keurig! The only negative thing we experienced was trying to find the actual condo and car port entry upon arrival. It was a bit confusing. Renters need to know that should enter on West Ashley side and not West Arctic street side. I spent a long time looking for a keypad to enter. Fortunately a phone number was listed and the employee at Best guided me around to the front. Seems silly now, but when first arriving it seemed like the other side was a different complex. The last thing I'd like to mention that was a happy was the water spicket and shower on the ground level to use after coming up sandy from the beach. Very cool!!! We will definitely rent here again!!!

Folly rental went out of their way to get an item back to me. That alone is cause for a good rating. The great rating comes from the condo (everything you need and more). Location is a few blocks from the main four corners and right across the street from beach access. Great views of the beach. Will be looking to stay again and would highly recommend.

We loved the condo! The view of the ocean was exceptional, and the ease of beach access made it simple to spend time there each day. The condo itself was spacious and very clean. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay. This property is even better in person. Was very quiet. The only thing I’d recommend is having blackout curtains in the bedrooms since the porch light is so bright. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the beautiful beach. Everything is within walking distance.

This was a much needed get away for five days for grandparents and mom and son. We had wonderful time being together and enjoying each other’s company. The condo has a beautiful view of the ocean from two balconies! This area of Folly Beach is quiet and within walking distance of downtown and restaurants. The home was stocked with everything imaginable. It was very clean and bright and pretty. We will definitely be back!

Loved this property. Plenty of room to spread out. Walking distance to downtown Center Street but a sense of seclusion when you were inside. Great unit and views. Loved the dual balconies!

This condo boasts exceptional access to Folly Beach! We enjoyed time on the beach and walking to Center Street for food and shopping. We appreciated the 3 bed/3 bath layout and the wonderful balconies.

We went for a long weekend to celebrate my birthday. The place was laid out nicely for each of us to have our own space and good gathering area as well. Parking was perfect with spots for 3 and right below the unit. Great views of the ocean and close to town. The unit was well equipped and clean. I do recommend the owner secure new patio seating as the bar stools were rusted and falling apart. Fix that and it is a perfect getaway!

Spacious and very accommodating. Beach was not crowded and the weather was fantastic all week. Just a short walk to multiple restaurants and shops, plus a nice greenway not far from the condo. We rented a golf cart for the week (highly recommend) and toured the island. Great fresh seafood market for several nights of cooking in a well equipped kitchen. We will definitely be back ?
