Our Place At the Beach

Probably the best rental on Folly Beach. Extremely clean with every amenity possible. A lot of attention to guest needs. Convenient elevator and cart for hauling luggage up and down. Totally in the center of all restaurants and pier. The view is spectacular for a second street rental. I loved the jetted tub. So relaxing at the end of the day. Spacious an private for all 3 adult siblings. Great trip.

Surfing is apparently popular in the area as we saw multiple during our stay - we visited a couple surf shops (as well as other shops within walking distance) even though we don’t surf. Great location, never needed the host, everything we used worked. Very clean. This was our first trip to Folly and we will be back. We also loved how close we were to Charleston and the sights there. You have to go to Market Pavilion Hotel and ask for a Nitrotini List and enjoy it on the rooftop!

We found the Folly Beach condo through Airbnb and the description listed was extremely helpful and exact. We booked the condo based on the 9.8 out of 10 repeated reviews, which were the highest scores out of any other condos listed on the virtual site. Upon arrival, aggressive wasps had created several nests at our entry door, which prohibited our early check-in, and our son was stung. When I contacted The Best Rentals, "Charlotte" was pleasant, took care of our early check-in, and "Mickey" arrived within 10 minutes to spray, which continued throughout our stay. Our condo was impeccably cleaned, beds extremely comfortable, and kitchen fully stocked with high end small appliances. The owner and Best Rentals clearly pay attention to details and it's refreshing to see high standards passed along for the best customer experience. Without hesitation, we would book this condo again, which is a short walk to the beach. Thank you for the beautiful family memories!

Clean, spacious and super friendly staff. They left a care package with toiletries, pods for the washer, dish soap and bathroom soaps for each bathroom. I felt like I was at home and not staying in someone else's space. That is a rare perk. One of the best places we have stayed.

Excellent condo, beautiful view, great location and very clean! Spent every minute I could on the porch watching the ocean! I’ve been to Folly many times and this was definitely one of our top places! Only thing is, I felt for what we paid, there should have been live tv. There’s is only streaming. I do not go on vaca to watch tv but it just happen to be during March Madness and opening baseball season so we were a little disappointed that we couldn’t watch the games. Other than that the place was fantastic!

The condo was comfortable, well stocked and had plenty of space. It was a convenient location to Charleston and other places to visit. The Taco Boy was good and so convenient to walk there. Lots of fun stops on the strip too. This is a great place to walk along the beach or enjoy time on the porch. Pretty sunny out there in the morning, so bring the sunglasses!

This place was great, I had originally cancelled my reservation at the Tides so I was feeling a bit stressed about this place but I think it ended up being better. Place was very clean, you can see the beach from the balcony, the location is the best, you can walk to the beach and to any restaurant.Overall I recommend this place a lot!!!!

Our family visited for a few days and the unto was perfect. We will definitely stay at this location again. Note: there IS a crockpot in the unit. Also a keurig and regular coffee pot with a built in filter.

We had an absolutely positive experience all around. The apartment was in an amazing location, a block from the beach as well as Center street. The apartment was extremely clean and had all the amenities we needed - trash bags, toiletries, dish soap, sponge, dishes, and silverware. Switches and remotes were labeled, which was a really nice touch. The bathrooms were spacious and could easily fit a pack n play. My entire family could not stop complimenting the unit. If I had to give constructive feedback, it was that the contract had payment terms with payment timing inconsistent with the Vrbo listing. However, communication was polite and prompt, and they agreed to honor Vrbo’s terms. We absolutely would stay here again.

The property that we stayed at was in the perfect area, was able to walk to many different shops and restaurants along with having a beautiful view. It was very clean and ready for us to have a good vacation. There were paper towels, napkins, dish soap, laundry detergent, and soap for us to use. The parking was easy to use and figure out. There was a helpful white binder that was in the property to guide what we needed to do and fun things to do around the area. The one downfall was that if you wanted beach chairs you had to rent them for the days, most properties come with them.

Our stay was great. The description of the condo is accurate, it was incredibly clean, and is in a great location. The only negative is a 4pm check in and a 10am check out time is a bit wider of a gap than I have experienced with other rentals. However, this isn’t enough of an issue to reduce this from a 5 star place.

Beautiful place! Spacious, clean and with a view of the water! I appreciate the fully stocked kitchen and hard flooring throughout the entire place, especially with having young kids. This location was especially ideal because we easily were able to run to the beach and back to our room all day, but we also were able to walk to the Irish pub at the corner of the strip for a night out. 5/5 would recommend to others and definitely will book again in the future!

I’m going to write a detailed review since this property doesn’t have a ton yet, in hopes it helps others. Check-in: unless you pay for early check in, you can not type your code in any earlier than 4:00. We tried at 3:55 with no luck. At exactly 4:00, it worked! There are plenty of linens and bath towels for at least 6 people. They do provide about 4 laundry detergent tabs and 4 dish washer tabs. 1 rolls of paper towels and each bathroom has at least 1 extra roll of toilet paper. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms are very spacious! We really appreciated everything being labeled. Light switches, and how to work each TV with each remote provided. The master bedroom TV is a smart TV and once you turn it on give it a few minutes to connect to the WiFi and it’s good to go! The ice maker in the freezer isn’t the fastest but it works to load your cooler for the beach each morning! There is a Keurig and a drip coffee maker as well! There is no outdoor storage for beach chairs and toys but we left everything right behind our car in our designated parking under the condos. No one messed with anything and we felt it was very safe! All in all, the view was beautiful, the balcony was nice and has comfortable seating, the condo was very clean and we loved our stay! I’ll add that we had our 4 year old and almost 2 year old with us and they loved it too! Plenty of room in the bedrooms for a pack n play. We would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect location - across the street from the ocean, and a short walk to Center St and all the shops and restaurants. The ocean views from the balcony were nice too. And the complex had an elevator. The condo was neat and clean, and had everything we needed. The WiFi worked great. The master bedroom master was firm, but that’s really my only complaint. We would definitely stay here again!

We did a staycation at the beach for our family and stayed at this condo. Perfect location - quick walk to the beach (and showers to wash off) and Folly restaurants. Also, only a few blocks away from the great little Wave Watch Park for the kids! We LOVED sipping our coffee in the morning and wine in the evening on the balcony while watching the beachgoers, surfers and waves. We will definitely be staying here again!
